Mercure Toulouse Centre Wilson Capitole hotel

We stayed one night returning home. It's a centric hotel with good services but small rooms. The breakfast average, it could be a bit more complete for the price. We stayed for holidays, but for business, I think it's a very good option for the situation and Internet speed. Parking in the same building.

Despite I'm sure that there are other hotels in Toulouse with such high standards, Mercure Toulouse Wilson is always my option. It is very close to the Airbus shuttle pick up point (only a 2 minutes walk) going to the Dewoitine centre and to the Airbus Training Centre. It was renewed a couple of years ago, offering a modern atmosphere. Toulouse dowtown is also just a walk away, but the hotel is quiet.

Good location in the city center, this hotel offers a modern and recent interior within an old building. If you have a car, there are a couple of parkings only a few hundred meters away, but none owned by the hotel. Service is young and rather pleasant although both the check in and the check out took too long. The room was quiet, obviously recently refurbished on the 4th floor, offering a cosy room. Good service at the bar too.

After an early hiccup over an early check in, thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this hotel. Extremely quiet for a downtown Toulouse hotel, rooms typically on the small side but very modern, clean and comfortable. Fantastic location adjacent to Place Wilson. Small hotel, boutique styling. Breakfast selection very good. Would certainly stay again.

We had a premium room with balcony on the fifth floor for 5 days. The room was rather small, but still had a comfortable chair and a small table in addition to a really big television screen. Nice bed. Cleaning was ok, but refill of soap, cotton pads, coffee capsules and teabags were a constant problem. I always had to go searching for the cleaning lady to get these things. Breakfast was very good and the man in charge of breakfast room on weekdays was fantastic! Missed him on his day off, but he works hard to keep everyone happy and deserves all the time off he can get!

What a great location to explore the very heart of Toulouse. This boutique style hotel is full of character and sass! The lobby and bar are intimate and fun, with novel seating and design. Fabulous breakfasts including local violet jelly!

This past May 2017 we stayed at the Hotel Mercure Place Wilson in Toulouse. We used the Line Aero toward Gare routiere Toulouse to the Jean Jaures Station with dropped us within easy walking distance to the hotel. The hotel is very comfortable with a pleasant self-serve breakfast room that lacks for nothing: eggs, cheese, a charcuterie selection and, of course, a good selection of cheeses along with a friendly staff to help if needed. Plenty of food with which to fortify yourself before a busy day of sightseeing. The location is extremely convenient to the main plaza, Place du Capitol. Steps from the hotel one of the ubiquitous carousels of Toulouse (nice place to sit on a summer evening and watch families enjoy the rides) as well as small restaurants and bars for a drop-in drink and appetizer. I recommend this hotel.

I can recommend anyone to visit Toulouse. It's a beautiful city which is so alive, day and night. Every corner hides yet another marvel. You can walk the city easily and believe enough bars and brasseries to take break. About the brasseries however, a word of caution. Don't go there to eat, espcially the ones with fixed price menu's since they are all tourist traps. Between ordering and serving are 5 minutes. No way that food is freshly prepared, so we discovered. There are some good places, but you better prepare yourself to find them beforehand. The hotel we stayed in was the perfect choice. Very well renovated, clean and excellent breakfast with excellent service from the staff. I can recommend it. The parking is handy, but don't go there with a big car, since it is quite narrow and you need to know how to get in and out. But hey, you have parking and who cares? They charge 15 $ per night which is really decent, considering your in the centre. So go there!

The location is perfect in the city center : you park your car in the parking (with charge) and you do everything by foot as everything is accessible from this hotel : Place du Capitole, banks of the Garonne, shopping streets and restaurants all around. Standard Mercure service and welcome. Room without any charm but functional.

You want a city centre hotel, with a really quiet room? Check You want a budget price, with amenities? Check Enjoyed an overnight stay here. Car parking a huge plus, but not if you have a large car as the space is tight. Room was spacious and quiet, breakfast was above average for this type of chain hotel. Many dinner options just a stones throw away.
