A pleasant change near the airport from the usual

I chose this hotel because I wanted to be near the airport in the morning. I arrived late - but the front desk had left clear instruction on how to get into the building and find my room. Very helpful, particularly in the dark! Rooms are clean, the general facilities looked good, though I didn't use them Alas the journey to the airport was slow, so if you have a flight in the rush hour, leave 40 minutes to drive from the hotel to departures. Still, it made a change from the chain hotels around the airport, and I would recommend if you're in the area

Not great I'm afraid

Ok, firstly the dinner was amazing. The room was ultra clean, the air con worked and the appliances were modern. But the atmosphere is terrible! Had to ring the bell several times before someone showed up to let us in. The pool is out of action despite it being very hot everywhere apart from our room. Four seats (for the entire hotel) provided outside. Whilst the staff were having their dinner they thought it was ok to play very loud rock music in the bar - under our room - so they could hear it whilst they ate outside! Room very gloomy and dark. However, the staff were generally very pleasant and polite - it had the air of a place being run by the staff but with no management? Out of ten we would rate it about 4, and that would be for the meal. Sorry!

A Pleasant Stay

I booked this hotel because I thought they offered free shuttle to/from the airport and the price was very reasonable. It stated under 'amenities' that they have free shuttle from the Hotels.com description. Well, they don't have free shuttle. You have to take a taxi which caused us Euro40.00 one way. We were quite upset, but when we stepped into the property, we were delighted to find a quaint French hotel with a brick façade. Our room was huge overlooking the garden. Bathroom was big with a jacuzzi like tub. They have the old fashioned key and big heavy French doors to your room. Room number is on the carpet. They gave us free breakfast. They also have high speed internet connection, unlike other parts of France. I think their restaurant is well known, because while we were waiting for our taxi, people kept coming in for lunch. Overall, they were very nice and we ended up enjoying our stay.
