Having just thoroughly enjoyed a 7 night stay here, we would be delighted to return and will recommend it to friends and family. From the minute you walk through the door you find that every member of staff that you meet is most welcoming, charming and so helpful. By the time that we left we felt like we were one of the family. Not something that normally happens in a large hotel. The hotel had a make over fairly recently and still looks almost like new, clean and colourful. We found that the all inclusive typical continental breakfast, all you can eat, was top quality as well as having plenty of variety. You can either eat inside or at one of the many tables on the huge roof top terrace. The breakfast room up there doubles as a bar lounge with sofas, a t v, magazines, daily papers and a children's play area. A free hot drinks machine is available 24/7. Your dog is most welcome too. By European standards the bedrooms are bigger than many and offer all the facilities you normally require. Air con works perfectly thank goodness. It was very hot last week. There's a good size shower room and a separate w c. The standard of housekeeping is top rate. Double glazing means you hear nothing from out in the street. The latest comfort mattresses could well cause you to oversleep. The wifi signal is very strong in every part of the building. No doubt many will have already said how convenient it is for the Rail Station, a stone's throw away. A nice gentle, but partly uphill walk should take no more than 15 to 20 minutes at the very most to reach both the new and the old town. Ten . . . . . if you are fully fit. The buses however stop just round the corner, station side for going to the Port ( a 67 ) or Toulon ( a 39 ) and the same on the hotel side to go up to the town centre. The Station Car Park has hundreds and hundreds of FREE parking spaces. What more can you ask for? Well, good weather. Maybe they can provide that for you too. Nothing would surprise us.
We were doing a road trip through Provence and this hotel was easy to access and had plenty of parking by the train station. The hotel is located between the port to reach Porquerolles and the city centre. The port is 25 minutes drive and the city centre is 20 minutes walk. Overall it was a nice experience at this hotel for being a 3 stars. Staff was nice and helpful. The hotel looks and feels brand new. Room and bathroom are small but clean and functional. Just make sure to leave your big suitcases in the car.
The location of this hotel is not very convenient, prefer Ibis Hotel Center which is the best location (in this standard of Hotel). Because there are only a few restaurants nearby, not much choice, and the town centre is quite a walk But the pros are: if you need a stay near the railway station Large bedroom bar and breakfast at terrace upstairs at rooftop Spa in the hotel
The hotel is centrally located, about a 15 minute walk (somewhat uphill) to the old town. The room was a decent size, clean, and quiet with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was good, on a spacious indoor/outdoor roof terrace. Excellent orange juice, good coffee, and good variety of breads. Parking was free--either on the street near the hotel or in the train station parking lot across the street. Fairly easy access to main highways to visit surrounding area. Staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient.
We stayed for one night in this Hotel in the first floor. The Room and Bathroom were clean, and quite. The bathroom was big. The breakfast was good, I was asking for boiled egg in order to escape eating the cheese which was smelling a bit strongly unfortunately the employee answered that they do not offer any extra things except what is on the table. I personally was a bit disappointed from the breakfast, my wife found the offered things are sufficient for her (she do like the cheese and the ham products which I do not eat at all) The Hotel is well situated and can be reached from the train station just by crossing the street and 10 minute walk to the center
We came to the coast to spend a day at a nearby beach. The hotel was perfect. The room was clean, minimal as was the bathroom. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a good continental cold breakfast, well presented, and the terrace super. The price was right!
Stayed here for three nights during the Euros. It is a comfortable hotel close to the train station and free parking. It's a short walk (15 mins) to the town centre and lots of restaurants and about an hours walk from the sandy beach. Staff were helpful and the room was absolutely fine. Buffet Breakfast was on the top floor where there was a terrace and a small bar. It was great to sit out in the sun.
We booked a charter sailboat out of Hyeres and needed a hotel for short pre- and post-charter visits to Hyeres. As usual, Ibis did not let us down with its efficient and comfortable rooms. We were near groceries for provisioning, the town for walking and shopping, and the train station for our departure to other points on the Riveria. The staff was magnificent, answering all our questions, taking prompt care of small concerns of American travelers, and providing us a warm welcome on our return from our charter. The Hotel had ample space, providing us with clean and lovely accomodations. Amenities were quite pleasing, particularly the rooftop lounge--a breakfast buffet in the mornings, and a lovely bar at sunset.
We came to Hyeres for the European Cross Country Championships and chose the Best Western because of the name--we knew it'd be something familiar. We loved it! Although, it was under construction a bit, the staff was incredibly helpful, the bed was much bigger than we anticipated, and the rooms were clean. The location is much better than what those who've previously reviewed it say it is. There are several incredible bakeries surrounding the hotel. A really good Vietnamese restaurant and everything is really close, especially if you have a car. If not, walking really isn't that bad to a lot of the places close by. The parking is really easy, just across the street at the train station and you barely realize it's there it's so quiet. We were always able to find a parking spot in the train station parking and it's free. The WIFI was really really good. Best connection I've ever had in Europe. Only drawback was some of the other guests would smoke in the hallways. Another would be that the breakfast, albeit tasty, is 12 Euros a person. Not very many people in the town speak English so beware, but otherwise it's a fantastic place. Hyeres is a beautiful town and would stay here again and again if we ever come back!
We drove to the South of France for a four day break, wanting to visit St Tropez. We chose to stay in a Best Western because we had used them in both the UK and on visits to the USA, so we knew they we good. We wanted to explore the area to help us plan future visits and this hotel was in the center of where we wanted to go. The rooms are nice and clean and the service is excellent, we found every member of staff helpful and well mannered. It's across the road from the train station making access to Toulon and Marseille easy and it's only 20 miles from Pampelonna beach at St Tropez. It's a nice clean friendly hotel and ticks all the boxes if it's in the right location for you.
