We stayed one night to visit Poquerolles Island. The hotel is right next to the highway (but quiet enough), the staff was very nice and friendly - they speak english. The room was average, weird that they had a vanity and sewing kit but not shampoo or toothpaste. The hairdryer is a piece of museum. The patio is nice to have drinks and the hotel is walking distance to the city center (Old Hyeres).
Good parking at the hotel. Easy flat walk into town (10 mins). All the reception staff were exceptionally helpful & pleasant (made this a 'very good' stay rather than just 'average'). They informed us we could buy tickets there (at the same price) for the ferry to Porquerolles, which saved us queuing next morning. Our room was quite spacious & very clean, but disappointingly the bathroom really needs some tlc. We didn't have breakfast nor dine in the restaurant, so can't comment on the food.
We checked in at 11pm approx on a Friday night. Reception area is small but warm. We were disappointed that the bar was closed but the kind staff served us a few beers anyway. The room was comfortable, modern nod clean. Large bathroom with an excellent shower. The hair dryer was very poor quality however. Breakfast was a cold buffet. Nice selection of breads, cheese, ham etc. They ran out of eggs one morning which was very poor. Overall a very nice hotel, with friendly staff.
Cheap room interior. Bathroom oldstyle and not very clean. They tried to renew the rooms but the quality lacks. The only nice thing is the patio to sit and relax and take some food. Breakfast ok but not worth 10euro.
We recently stayed in the "junior suite" at this hotel for one night. It has a large double bed and a sofa bed that when open, makes the room difficult to cross. The bed was comfortable enough, but the pillows horrible. Though there was AC, it was more like a swamp cooler rather than true AC which left us too warm at night during this very warm season in Hyeres. It did not cool off enough to sleep with the window open. Our room overlooked a large garden/restaurant area which was nice and where you can enjoy a drink at night and have breakfast in the morning. It is mosquito season, so as long as you give yourself a repellant spray, it was enjoyable. My biggest issue was that it just seemed to lack true cleanliness. The whole property is very tired. The grout in the bathroom tile is moldy and towels dingy. It seems they tried to spruce up things but have done a poor job of painting, the art on the wall is cheap posters, and the door handles and faucets are dated and not always in good working condition (the shower only sprayed into the wall unless manipulated by hand). There was a mini fridge which was a plus. I won't go into detail about the toilet in the lobby because it was worse than an airport. The front desk staff was moderately friendly and the breakfast staff was lovely. It is located close to the interstate and we were not bothered by road noise. Parking is available but you really have to squeeze in and reverse park to leave but it is free. It is not really convenient for walking to the beach or the old town, just an interstate stop off. I would not stay here again.
I have just spent 5 days in this hotel, from 2to 6 July 2015... This hotel is comfortable, very quiet and friendly...and close to the center of the city... Only one problem:the sea is a little far (a 30 minutes walk)..Good breakfast...the renovation seems sometimes have been done a little cheaply but it is not a problem... A good place to stay a few days, with a large parking...
we spent two nights at this hotel having driven from St Maxime and before heading back to Lunel. the hotel was OK to find with the GPS ,in fact easy when you know how. Aa few moments away from the main through route so great for setting off again .No problem with parkings spaces . the room was cool and calm and the window looked out on to a garden all leafy greens Its an ecalogical hotel so some things are a little differant no fridge in the room, we left some cheeses in a small cold bag in the hotel fridge and they refroze our ice packs ready fro when we left Its a carpeted hotel, made of wood with the biggest most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Good sized bathroom and plenty of hot water flat screen Tv, all you would expect to find The breakfast was french with some lovely breads and lots of pastries various cheeses and ham A fresh fruit salad as well as a bowl of fresh fruit, and the coffee machine made a great hot cappuchino for me and black coffee for Denis all the normal cereal and yogurts which my husband loves for 10 euros a head its fair value and good quality. The only thing we did not enjoy much was the restauarant in the evening maybe just us but I found the food very average and over priced ,which i did mention at the time . Good places to sit in the gardens and lots of magazines very good indeed for the price 74 euros for a prebooked on line and 84 for the extra day I wanted All the staff were helpful and we would go back next time we are in Hyeres
We had a good 3-nights stay in Hyeres. The hotel is renovated and comfortable. Although it is renovated, it seems to have been done cheaply so I wouldn't be surprised if the hotel is falling apart in a year or two... the floors are creaky and the bathroom seems particularly cheaply done. Still, the positives outweigh the negatives: free parking and close to the highway which was perfect for us as we were visiting lots of the neighbouring towns during our stay. The garden is lovely and a very pleasant place to eat breakfast in the morning; breakfast was good although the coffee was from a self-serve machine... not the best. The staff was very nice and accommodated us very easily when we asked to extend our stay from one night to three; they gave us the same rate we had from booking.com
This hotel is very nice, renovated, nicely decorated. In a really good location to access Hyeres from the high way, go to the center or the beaches. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable, very quite (at least our room was). We were a group of 3 friends and we were able to get a room with 3 beds which is not easy to find. The terrace is also a very nice option to have a drink in the evening if you are too tired to leave the hotel. On the other hand, staff was not the friendliest and the breakfast, as mentioned by others was rather poor and disappointing. But all and all it's a good hotel and I would recommend it.
