Definitely worth a look

I knew the area from a previous visit, this apartment was better than expected and absolutely under sold - already looking to book for next year.The host was always available to answer any questions and the meet and greet was ever so helpful. I can not praise this property highly enough. Only drawback would be the area has some very demanding hills not for the unfit, elderly or toddlers but was everything i was looking for and more. Close to all amenities and some great eateries and home to a cracking back street "British" bar (Bar Brittania) all in all maximum stars in EVERY department !

A pleasant welcome

My first stay in Spain. Excellent location, a short walk away from the beach, supermarket and a good restaurant. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Comparatively at a good price. Watch out for the 65 cleaning fee payable in advance. Neighbours downstairs played loud music during the day but were quiet at night. I had to buy dishwashing liquid and kitchen sponges. Overall a lovely stay and I loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean.

Nice 2 bedroomed apartment

This is a comfortable and nicely presented apartment - perfectly adequate for me and my husband. It has a good sized terrace from which you can see the sea on one side. The only issues we had was finding TV channels on the TV and the keys not working to the back gates to the complex (so we had to walk round) Note the apartment does not have WiFi The pool is also a good size, but check opening times depending on time of year. The local beach is sandy and about 10-15 mins walk. It is up hill on the way back though. the Mercadona is just around the corner over the road, along with plenty of places to eat out. Note :The Mercadona is not open on Sundays. The bus stop is also around the corner from the apartment and will take you into Torrevieja or into La Mata. The owner communicates well and quickly to any questions asked. we also used their service to get picked up from the airport (which went exactly to plan) We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Property needs some TLC

Toilet seat cannot stay up regardless of sitting or standing as cistern sticks out too far. This is more annoying than I could ever have imagined. Toilet wont flush by finger the only way of flushing is by sticking a small bottle etc down and to try and hold it down. Not enough hot water for half a bath as my son found to his dissatisfaction. Bathroom sink loose so had to be careful not to put pressure on it. No soap in bathroom so upon arrival and using toilet no means of washing hands. At 1am EVERY morning either a road sweeper or dustcart stops outside the property and wakes up anyone in front bedroom. Walls of apartment very thin, can hear tv next door and even heard woman shushing my husband through the wall due to his snoring (fair enough!). There is a bottle to collect aircon water on balcony which over flowed during the night and caused my son to slip over and hurt himself on the first morning (there must be a better solution!). Walked down to beach and restaurants several times, the amount of dog mess on the only pavement is horrendous and ruins the entire experience. Constantly calling out "watch out turd", "don't step in that" etc there and back is very tiresome. On the plus side, Chris who met us and let us in was lovely and the washing machine and aircon worked fine.

Everything you need for a holiday

We have spent a very good time at James's property. He organized the communication with his local representative Sarah, who helped us with the airport transfer. It was a very warm welcome from local representative Chris who showed us the apartment and also took us back to the Alicante airport. We arrived late Saturday when the nearby supermarket Mercadona was closed, and it was closed on Sunday too. But there is the groceries shop "24H Z" open every day until 2 am on Carr. del Torrejón. On the same street, you can find restaurants and cafes. We can recommend visiting "Magani", all food is fresh and made from local products even Sangria. If you prefer to cook yourselves the kitchen in the apartment is very well equipped and there are plenty of cutleries. In the evenings we were sitting on the huge balcony enjoying the amazing sunset. The bus stop is close to the apartments, routes A2 and C riding to the town centre, and a driver sells tickets. If you are going to book a taxi you need to use WhatsApp because they do not accept bookings from foreign numbers, or to go to the taxi rank. The pool has been open only for the last few days of our stay but we got a good sunbath and swam on the beach. There is a beautiful garden around the pool, but just within walking distance you can find Aromatico Park and Molino de Agua Park with the restaurant "Queen Mississippi". If you will walk down by Ronda Jose Samper Garcia and cross the N-332 road you reach Natural Park Lagunas de La Mata. After all our walks it was so pleasant to sleep in the comfortable bedrooms. We highly recommend the apartment. Thank you, James, Sarah, and Chris!

Think we was the first let of the season as the apartment was a bit musky, but soon cleared with some fresh air. Was met by Chris to hand over the keys, very polite even though we were late back from the airport. The apartment is close to the local strip which has many good bars etc. The local supermarket is just over the road. The apartment itself was very clean and well maintained. Two large bedrooms with lots of storage space for your clothes. Plenty of cutlery etc on the small but adequate kitchen. Lovely gardens at the rear with a nice pool which unfortunately for us was not open yet.All in all an excellent apartment which l strongly recommend & we shall book again.

Very convenient to local amenities with restaurants and bars, there is also a supermarket all within a five minute walk. You can walk to the beach in 10-15 minutes or catch a bus to Torrevieja or the beautiful La Mata. Would definitely recommend.

Ondanks dat het dit jaar voor deze periode van het jaar (verblijf van eind februari tot eind mei) minder warm, minder zonnig maar eerder wisselvallig weer was, heb ik in dit appartement in Torremar VI een heel aangenaam verblijf gehad. Dit gebouw ligt in een mooie, rustige buitenwijk van Torrevieja, in het begin van de regio La Mata, bekend om zijn mooie strand, restaurants, terrasjes, pleintjes,... Niet luxueus maar wel gezellig ingericht, met zeer ruim terras en open zicht en op zijkant mooi zeezicht. Ik voelde mij er al dadelijk thuis. De foto's op de site geven echt weer zoals het er ter plaatse is. Rustig gelegen en toch op wandelafstand van de Mercadona, Aldi,... en lekkere restaurantjes. Na 10 minuutjes wandelen sta je op het strand waar je ook in de chiringuito kan genieten van een drankje en snackje. James is een zeer responsieve host. Heb een paar keer een klein probleempje gehad, waar hij heel snel - via Andrea en Franky, zijn heel vriendelijke en behulpzame contactpersonen ter plaatse, een oplossing voor heeft geboden. Boek met een gerust hart, dit aangename appartement.
