Recommend guest house definately be back next time

Lovely friendly hosts, good size room lovely and clean, comfy bed, good breakfast, great location, has a car park behind guest limited parking but plenty of spaces on nearby roads.

Nice couple of days

Good experience overall. Location is excellent, close the the sea front and city centre. Car parking facility rear of the building (for 3 cars). Warm reception on arrival, but no reception desk for later issues. The room was in a very good condition on arrival, but there was no make up service on the second day. We were told that tea bags and coffee sachets are available to collect from a box in the kitchen area, but this box was empty in the evening.

Relaxing time

A beaming smile was the greating we recieved as Sade answered the door and booked us in. Kethla house was immaculately clean and tidy. Sade and Jonathan take great pride in the quality of their establishment. My wife and I were made very welcome and put at ease. Breakfast can be adjusted to individual taste and dietary requirements, also the full continental is very large indeed although only my wife had it, I think I would have struggled to complete it myself. The en-suite bedroom was very spacious with plenty of storage and a mini bar at a reasonable cost. Any questions were quickly and fully answered. Overall would I recommend Kethla house? Most definitely 100%

Not very welcoming

When on arrival we felt that we weren't very welcome, the landlady was rather offish because we had arrived a little bit earlier than we should. But we had just driven over 200 miles and 4 hours driving (without a stop) to get there and all we wanted to do, was just to drop off our suitcases and park the car up for our stay there and just sit down for 10 minutes, there wasn't even a welcome, cup tea or cold drink. All she wanted us to do, was get out and come back at the appropriate time. When got booked in, all she wanted was what we would like for breakfast, but there was no freedom of chose for what we would like our breakfast and only a time which suited her, the only time it was changed, was to suit her in fitting in new arrivals that arrived the day after we arrived yet we were never offered a choice of time slot that would suit us.
