We had a fantastic stay! Sarah was such a warm and welcoming host from the moment we arrived. The beachfront location is absolutely stunning waking up right by the beach made the trip so special. Our room was spotlessly clean, super comfortable, and had everything we needed. To top it off, breakfast each morning was amazing! Plus, being able to bring our spaniel along made it the perfect getaway for all of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Westcroft at Seasound, not to be confused with Westcroft, which has now closed. We had a very warm welcome by the host Sarah and her two lovely pointer dogs, Edgar and Veta. Sarah made such an effort to make our week-stay as enjoyable as possible and both my wife and I felt very much at home. Breakfast was really nice catering for our individual taste. Sarah was a great source of information helping us to make the most of the surrounding attractions. Seasound is situated right on the seafront with a lovely beach and fantastic restaurants within walking distance. We were able to park in the nearby car park which cost under £30 for the full week. The area is very dog friendly which was important for us and our dog. I can't thank Sarah enough for going above the call of duty and we will definitely be returning in the future. In a word: wonderful. Situated directly on the esplanade, the house (which, by the way, has moved a few doors down from the Westcroft property) has sea and beach views that keep you relaxed and entertained in equal measure. Sarah, the hostess, is welcoming, personable and helpful, and she readily shares her encyclopaedic knowledge of the area. We enjoyed National Trust properties, stunning local walks and unspoiled places to swim. Breakfast, with gourmet touches, is beautifully presented and really delicious. Sarah's slow-roasted tomatoes were a huge hit. Our bedroom and ensuite were cocooning and charming, with views over the delightful courtyard garden (other rooms have stunning sea views). The house is beautifully decorated with antique furniture and paintings. If you tire of sightseeing, the guest snug offers old-world comfort and charm as well as a sea view. The pretty twin villages have a café/bakery, a well-stocked village shop and several pubs offering food. We dined at the Devonport Inn, where the fresh fish is cooked to perfection. The very narrow streets and walkways mean that everything is just a short walk away. You can leave your car in the central car park and step back in time.

Sarah is a great host, the location is brilliant, very central to the village. Breakfast is amazing. Expedia messed up the booking but Sarah did not let us down and sorted everything for us so we had a great stay. Food in the local pub is great!
