Fabulous 3 bed Freathy chalet with a wonderful view

Set in the cliff top village of Freathy, the property has beautiful views out over the fields and towards the sea. A recently built three-bedroom chalet it is situated very close to the coastal footpath, and within walking distance of some truly spectacular beaches. With large views out of vast windows from the open plan kitchen/living room towards a scheduled monument, and three warm comfortable bedrooms this is the perfect place for a family holiday.

Ideal location for the beach and the kids loved the playground area
We hit 3 fantastic hot weather days . Very comfortable beds Lovely outlook out the back over the fields. Need to be able bodied to climb down the cliff and check high tide times as access to the beach is cut off at these times. Wonderful rock pools for young ones

Have just returned from an adult family weekend away and while the property was lovely and we enjoyed our stay, there were just a couple of things we thought could have been improved. We took along our 3 dogs, but found that the property could have done with a side gate to stop them from wandering round the front of the property. The front gate has a dodgy latch and had it not been for the neighbours, our dogs could have got much further than they did when the gate unlatched itself and they got out ! A side gate would keep them in the line of sight. A welcome pack of milk, bread and essentials was also advertised on the booking listing, but when we arrived, this wasnt the case. Its the first vrbo property we have been to where the proprty owner left no welcome gift ! Would have been a nice touch, and with the property being farely remote, it needed a 15 minute drive then to the nearest shop. That being said we had a very nice, comfortable stay, with peaceful surroundings and sensational views and coastline to explore.

Freathy Chalet
Great location for exploring that area of Cornwall. The chalet was immaculate, well-equipped and comfortable. It is situated right by a lovely green with plenty for children to explore and play on. It would be lovely place for couples or families and has a spacious decking area for Al fresco dining etc. Highly recommended.

Peaceful part of Cornwall.
Great Chalet, we’ll equipped and clean. Nice view of the hillside from the decking area. Situated in a lovely community. The local residents are really friendly and helpful. Great peaceful holiday. Out of the way yet close to a quiet beach (not easy access for pushchairs and a bit of a climb down for an older person) more accessible beaches and Looe and Plymouth are nearby and worth a visit.

Great location and accomodation
We stayed here in late October and found it to be excellent. The photos are very representative of the high quality of the place - well kitted out with modern, clean and high spec decor, furniture and facilities. The views are fantastic, and the short walk to the coastal path and beaches down below are really great. Would highly recommend, and we're planning to return!!!

Wunderbare Halbinsel in Cornwall
Wunderbare ruhige Halbinsel in Cornwall (the forgotten corner of Cornwall) mit tollen Stränden vor der Haustüre (Achtung Gezeiten!). Das Haus liegt an einem kleinen Park, der von einer sehr netten Nachbarschaft gepflegt wird und viele Freizeitaktivitäten ermöglicht (Tennis, Basketball, Fußball etc.). Supermarkt und Gemüsehändler in Millbrook und Bäcker in Cawsand innerhalb von 10 Autominuten zu erreichen.
