This is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful, lakeside setting in the mountains. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. It rained while we were there but we relaxed and read. The food and drink were very good.
The hotel rooms have recently been renovated and look beautiful. The experience at this hotel exceeded by far any expectation we have created. The facilities are in very well kept condition: you have several surfaces of Tennis courts, the pool was clean and warm. The room has a fireplace which can be lit overnight.
Nice room, very friendly poolside service and a great Sunday breakfast & brunch buffet with an awesome waiter called "Alex". I received mediocre service from someone at the bookings desk when I called to ensure I had a room with a view. I had to ask to talk to her boss in order to get a service-oriented response from her. It ain´t cheap, I think the value is tilted to the "too expensive" side of things. I paid less than that recently for an idyllic hotel in Huasteca Potosina called "Huasteca Secreta".
I was with my family for one weekend, the amenities were amazing nice pool, awesome views, great food. Unluckily we were at the rooms that hasn't been remodeled jet. Standard rooms, a little bit to old.
Very nice experience, fantastic views, and so quite
The green is very nice, the room was very old the toilette did not had door. The bathroom was the worst
Its perfect for a nice romantic getaway weekend the spa was great .
Driving to Valle de Bravo requires more time than what Google maps states. From Mexico airport it is best to assume 3.5 hours under reasonably good traffic conditions. Keep in mind that this is Mexico City. If you can fly into the international Toluca airport then you will save 2 hours each way. Also, there is lots of construction indicating that in the future driving will be a lot easier. The hotel and golf field setting is very relaxing and you will feel incredibly safe not wanting to go any where else. The staff is friendly and the food was great. Several sport activities are free (basketball, soccer, ping pong) while others including tennis are very reasonably priced. And again the staff is great. Our room was showing age and that lowered by ranking for the location. In addition, if the night is cold, you will need to run the fireplace and will cost you $15-20/ night. And you will need to get up at night and add more wood or you will be cold. An electric heater option would be a great room improvement. Overall a very relaxing and comfortable experience.
