The apartment is located between two stations of the Keio Line (train): Nishi-Chofu and Tobitakyu. Both are within walking distance.The apartment is in the right corner on the ground floor of a building with six units. It has two windows: one to the front and one on the right side. (Windows can be opened.) The building is located next to an elementary school. The neighborhood is residential and very quiet.As you can tell from the owner’s description, the apartment is small. When you enter, there are a sink and one stove plate on the right-hand side. Opposite is the bathroom door, leading into a small bathroom. The cooking area and the bathroom have not been modernized, but work just fine.We stayed in the apartment for several weeks in March 2025. In the beginning, it was still snowing. Then it was cold in the apartment, especially in the bathroom. As soon as the outside temperatures got warmer, it was comfortable.The apartment is great for one person. When two people stay there, they should know each other very well because there is not much space for privacy.The beds are in a loft above the living space. You have to climb a ladder to get up there. The ceiling above the mattresses is low, you cannot stand, but sit.As you may be able to tell from this description, when you are not very mobile and flexible or when you are a very tall person, you might find the bathroom and the loft challenging. The apartment is simple, but we really liked it. Everything is clean.
