Floor beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable as we are not used to sleeping on such hard surfaces. Room was very warm but because you sleep on the floor it gets really cold at night Very spacious room. Located on side street so generally quiet, but when someone races there it becomes extremely noisy. There is a massive green exit sign above the door that’s always on and it’s extremely bright plus there are some other annoying bright lights on the ceiling that can’t be turned off. If bathroom door is kept closed the bathroom becomes very cold as there is on heating in there. English instruction to the washing machine would be very helpful as 15 minute cold cycle (that what they want you to use) does nothing.

Our first hotel and visit to Japan, the Illi property was beautiful, clean and perfect for our family. We used the washer/dryer daily (which was HUGE for a family with small kids), and loved the kitchen amenities. The space was large and allowed our family to unwind after a long day of walking and exploring. Highly Recommend.

The room was clean, check in was seamless and the communication with staff was great. However, I feel I was misled for it was not quiet at all. There was construction work all three nights we were there at a neighbouring property that clearly had been going on a while and will continue to go on a while. We had sleepless nights as this construction work went on well past 11pm. There was also a strange scent when your heating was turned on.

Not your traditional hotel, but this is a quality stay! It is not a suite, it’s a small apartment. They left laundry detergent, earplugs etc. It is self check in but they use that person at the desk savings to provide quality. It’s also at an amazing location. Walking distance to everything!

The location of this hotel is great. The room must be brand new because it was spotless. It's an automated hotel so checking is done through a kiosk on the outside of the hotel. It was super fast and extremely easy. The hotel sent multiple messages keeping us posted on check-in and check out procedures. If you stay here I recommend checking out a tiny piano bar around the corner called BarToilet. The cocktails were amazing and it's a really interesting little place. There are only about 10 seats but that's pretty typical for a lot of area bars. I would definitely stay here again for sure!
