This place is magical. The staff is so friendly and the rooms were so clean. Lots of extras like cookies and apples upon arrival. The area is surrounded by wildlife. Birds galore and a couple of hungry harbor seals kept us entertained. We absolutely loved our 2 night stay here. We will be back!

This place is really beautiful. It's not like a hotel, more like separate apartments. We had a bedroom with a living room, kitchen and dining area. It's very quiet and right on the water. We enjoyed relaxing in front of the fire and admiring the view and the bald eagle that landed in the tree behind our unit. The location is great if you've got activities in town. The woman who checked us in was super nice and gave us great information about things to do in the area.

Location, room and view were great! Ownership change over had caused some problems, phone in room not working, liability issue! was told it would work in a few days, we were only staying 2. Found left behind clothes in dresser drawer and not enough glasses or silverwear in kitchen. Otherwise nice large open, airy, comfortable rooms for the two of us.

Great location and pleasant rooms, but not all condos have the same amenities as advertised (hot tub on the deck, for instance). Some of the staff were not particularly helpful or friendly. Better suited to longer stays, if you can put up without a daily cleaning service.

great spot; wonderful jet tub

This hotel is really a condo complex turned into a hotel. The management of the complex has decided to cut corners to increase profits. It's probably a good place for a longer stay but not for a few days. For example, they give you coffee and shampoo in the room but only enough for your first day. After that, you have to buy your own. And they don't clean it if you stay less than a week. They say they have onsite laundry but HALF the machines were broken with no immediate plans to fix them. It was clean and quiet.

We only stayed 1 nite but wished we could have stayed longer. The location was excellent so peaceful, condo had everything we needed just like a home away from home. Recommend it to anyone value excellent for money

I went Salom fisshing and my wife with hicking. Also a great place to see wild life.

Awesome resort with very friendly staff, peaceful and quiet. The apartment was huge (bedroom, living room full equipped kitchen, storage room and bathroom) and we had a great view at the bay. The balcony was perfect to observe animals like seals, eagels and black bears.

Hi Gina and thank you for choosing Waters Edge... We are happy to receive your beautiful review! I love the suites with the trees in front, eagles often like to perch and keep their "eagle" eyes on the harbour! We are a vacation rental property that does nightly rentals. The suites are all self contained and so not much is required of the front desk staff after check in where we share information on beaches, trails, shops, restaurants and maps to find them! We keep shorter hours in the off season (10-9) and a little longer in the high season (10-10)... Hope that explains the hours. Thanks again for staying with us and we hope you will be able to return again! Cheers from Ucluelet, Kim Foster, Guest Relations Manager
