Loved Hotel Zed and the town of Tofino!

Hotel Zed and the town of Tofino were absolutely gorgeous. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the property was meticulously maintained both inside and outside. We will be staying at Hotel Zed on any future trips to Tofino!

Beautiful and comfortable spaces. Family friendly. Lovely hot tub and sauna! The inland seating area was a serene, quiet spot to read. Best, all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We are repeat residents of this hotel and would have given it another 5 star review however night one was two at tops. Room above the restaurant has a horrible resonating sound they said would stop between 10 and 11. It did not. Room was 80 degrees marked in the thermostat so they offered a second fan as AC was not in this corner room facing the highway. Now into the 5 star part….. they relocated us to a familiar room facing the forest and had AC but more important was quiet. No need for AC on the shaded side. In all fairness I thought I booked the same room as our stay last October but apparently this is a kitchenette room. Well worth the upgrade. Zed is so cool and pretty close to town. Sauna and hot tub rock and beautiful view of the water out back. Thanks for bringing me back from the abyss :)

Great sustainable hotel, the room was very clean and new. Staff is very friendly and amenities are great. Only minor issue is that when you enter the room you immediately enter the bathroom in order to get to the main room. Also the toilet lights tend to be quite dimmed and is shared with the shower lights. Not major issue, would definitely stay again!

Fun hotel located in beautiful surroundings! As a family with a toddler who likes to explore, we really appreciated the laundry facility! The shower area in the room was different, but interesting. The hotel is walking distance to a gorgeous beach and food trucks!

We had an absolute blast during our stay at Hotel Zed Tofino. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is incredibly pet friendly and bike friendly, which we absolutely loved — it made our trip so much more fun and convenient. The staff was fantastic, warm, helpful, and genuinely enthusiastic. One of the things that really stood out was hearing multiple team members talking about how well the property treats its employees. It’s always great to see a place that values its people, and it definitely reflected in the quality of service. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

Step back into the 70’s … retro groovy memorabilia and furniture, excellent amenities, clean rooms and neat spots to experience and relax in made this a great place to stay near beautiful Tofino. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a unique experience!
