This property is centrally located in Todos Santos, everything is within walking distance. The rooms are very spacious with luxurious linens. Our bathroom had a gorgeous copper tub and amazing rain shower. The roof top bar/ restaurant offered the perfect setting for sunsets. This was a very nice treat, only wish we could have stayed longer!
Very nice hotel in downtown Todos Santos. We stayed for several days in this lovely little town with great charm and excellent food. The room had no sitting area besides the bed, but had a very large bathroom with room for an open suitcase. Fully air conditioned, but the free WiFi was very slow and sometimes didn't work. The price for the room, about $250 was high compared to a neighboring hotel where the rest of our group stayed. It did include the use of beach club at no charge, a 20 minute drive, where there was a large swimming pool, beach access and a lovely restaurant.
This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are very nice and super clean. The roof top pool bar was a little spendy but still very nice. The bath tub is a huge copper tub. Shower needed a little work. I would come here again.
Stayed at Guaycura November 16 and 17, 2017. We were in room 204. Beautiful iron postered bed and a hugh bathroom. Bath had a beautiful shower and a large copper tub. Linens were great. This is 15 room hotel that has a bar on roof by pool. We watched the sunset the first night on the roof. The hotel has a beach club about 5 minutes away called El Faro. Nice beach with very nice facilities, food and bar. Ate the second night at Mirador, also owned by the hotel. Beautiful venue on a hill overlooking the ocean. Great sunsets and food.
Our escorted tour stopped here to only visit the hotel. We all loved the rooftop pool, bar, and view of the town and plethora of palm trees, with a distant view of the Pacific. The hotel lobby is beautiful. We also loved going to their beachfront resort for lunch, the El Faro, where there's an infinity pool with a swim-up bar and a spa.
They should close until the things they advertise are open. The beautiful restaurant you see splashed across the website is closed, as well as the rooftop bar, pool and kitchen. We didn't have hot water or TV. The lady at the reception desk was not kind or helpful at all. I so wanted to like this hotel! We have moved to another hotel.
A real boutique hotel. With only 16 rooms furnished with tasteful Mexican style and all the comforts of a modern hotel. Its Mexican architecture also, with a facade characteristic of red bricks. It has a lounge with a nice bar and a roof top bar with beautiful views, good atmosphere and also a pool and spa. Its privileged location takes you away from the most bustling streets of the center, but is only a few steps away. It also has very good cuisine. Their staff is very attentive and friendly
I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Guaycura Hotel and Beachclub. Our family booked nine rooms for several days in June for my son's wedding in Todos Santos. Each room was perfect for the guests - clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. The location was right in town so that we all could walk to shops and restaurants. We spent a lot of time at the rooftop pool, seating area and bar since it was a pretty place to get some food, relax and enjoy the panoramic view of Todos Santos. We also held the Rehearsal Dinner at the gorgeous El Faro Beach club which is a separate facility with beach, pool, restaurant and spa. It was the perfect place for an evening party with plenty of space for indoor and outdoor tables, a band and a perfect view of the sunset. To help us plan and arrange our accommodations and party was their wonderful manager, Yolanda Contreras. She made planning a party for 60 people in Mexico easy and stress free! We loved her suggestions for food, lighting and especially the band! All the employees took pride in doing a good job for us and treated us like their family, especially Leo who worked in the El Faro restaurant. If you are going to Todos Santos, Mexico I would definitely recommend The Guaycura Hotel!
The hotel is charming and meet the characteristics of a boutique hotel. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Pros- nice toiletries, bottled water and sodas free of charge, cute little terrace, there's a neat beach club that you can go to and have a nice cocktail by the beach. Cons- shower head is way up and water splashes in every direction, not a pleasant shower, the tv did not work, we called the reception 3 times until they came to fix it, the receptionist didn't show any concern or apologized for the issue. Complimentary breakfast was only available at the beach club which is 10 min driving from the property. Coffee at the lobby would be nice as there's no coffee machine In the rooms.
I stayed at Guaycura for 3 days. The hotel itself is charming with great service and inviting common areas. More so, you cannot fully understand it unless you travel to its offsite Faro and Mirador locations. The Faro is a unique experience with kilometers of beach for yourself and a few other hotel guests. Meanwhile the Mirador offers a culinary delight with one of the most memorable sunsets you will ever experience. Service was very good. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Beds were plush and comfortable, perfect for collapsing and oversleeping. Bathroom was unusually large. I could have fitted a small dinner party in it. Overall, this is the best way to experience Todos Santos. Will visit again.
