Cute and relaxing place to stay. Amazing star gazing. Bonus fire pit and hammock in the back patio area. Fun family style community kitchen and tables. Great place to stay if you are looking to be somewhere different and disconnected.

Beautiful place to stay, the staff are very cool! Love the dogs! Especially the one that smiles, it’s a brindle hound mix. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The gardens are beautiful and well taken care of. Great little oasis.

The quaint feel of Mexico with added touches of a personal warm welcome. Alvaro works very hard to see that all guests are taken care of. Even makes brick oven pizza and fish tacos!! Fresh fruit and pastries in the morning are a great way to wake up to the open country sunshine.

It was great, A little piece of heaven, ! Be sure and follow directions to getting there the location may be a little tricky

Couldn't say enough about how kind the property manager was. Great stay with great service and breakfast at the front door !

Casitas El Salitral was fantastic! The accommodations were clean, simple and comfortable. The owners were very kind and hospitable, and the young man who was the caretaker, Alvero, went above and beyond what was expected. The location was just a 15 min drive to Cerritos Beach where you will find a nice relaxed community with an area to swim and surf. If you are looking for some generic all inclusive resort experience, then this isn't the place for you. But if you want a quiet and reasonably priced habitation near the beach then check this place out. A car rental will be necessary to get to and from.

They have done a great job with the overall look of the place but left out the comfort. Furniture is carved wood but no upholstered chairs or sofa to read a book. The lighting was so dim even with every one. The headboard had no back only round logs on the sides so it was away from the wall, I couldn’t read there either. No nightstands which was inconvenient. If it had rained it would have come through the thatched roof, we could see light coming through. There is an uncomfortable rocker and hanging netted chair on the patio again great to look at only. The owners are very nice brought us a nice bottle of wine. They do have dogs that like to bark so bring ear plugs because you have to leave the windows and sliding screen door open even in January. We left the door only partly open and used rope to keep it from opening to wide, we were not comfortable leaving the door wide open all night. I’m glad we only stayed one night.

had a wonderful and heart warming experience ......so gracious and caring

Very lovely place. Loved the buildings. Quiet at night. V hard to find turn off without asking someone Would def come back. Ps the dogs r v sweet

All waswonderful, friendly hosts, their dogs, beautiful homes... We loved it! It was a pretty unique Baja experience.

We enjoyed our time at Casitas. The owner was friendly and helpful. It was very quiet (except for the dogs barking at strangers), and we could hear the ocean at night. The night sky was amazing to look at, and the hotel even has some telescopes.

We only stayed one night on our way to La Paz but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Manual and Sylvia were so nice along with their dogs. The weather was perfect, around 60 degrees at night, so we were able to only have the screen door closed and feel the cool breeze and hear the ocean waves crashing. When we woke up early the next morning, we were able to watch the moon as it set over the ocean. We ended up eating dinner in Todos Santos but could have used the kitchen to make our own meal. They were nice enough to provide coffee earlier than normal for us along with some pastries. If I'm ever back in the area, I would definitely stay here again.

The best views in Mexico. Quiet. Unique in so many ways.
