Absolutely loved our stay! We wanted to get away for my husband’s birthday and our son’s last Spring Break in high school. Such a peaceful setting with gorgeous sunsets and amazing mornings with the moon setting over the lake! Multiple options for docking our boat while there so we were able to dock at a height that was much easier on us getting on/off the boat. Everything that we needed readily available plus a lot less “hiking” to get down to the water or back up to the house which helped tremendously! We brought our UNO cards along with a deck of regular playing cards with us just because it’s springtime in Alabama and storms pop up quickly. Never knew if we might have to pass the time playing cards. Got there and there was board games along with multiple types of card games in a basket in the living room so we never had to break ours out. Loved watching the ducks going back and forth on the water too. We didn’t catch tons of fish but we sure had fun when we did! Poor me got booted to the back of the boat since I was catching everything at the front of the boat (husband still didn’t catch anything after getting me to trade places so he must not have been holding his mouth right as my grandfather used to say). The shower in the master?? OH…..MY……GOODNESS! I wish we would have had about 4 foot more space in our bathroom at home when we did floor plans because that is how we would have designed it for sure! All in all, excellent stay and we will definitely be back!
