Comfortable resort, large cool pool and good breakfast. Friendly staff, but limited English... I think this adds to the experience. Beautiful surroundings and close to all local attractions. Not really a problem, but WiFi was weak in rooms....worked good in public areas.
My office came here for 3 days two nights annual semina , 80 people alltogether. The place is good for families and couples who'd like to relax amist the mountains, rivers, and fresh air, away from city life, as well as for a large group, company activities. Quite a long drive from Bangkok though -4 hours if the traffic is not bad. Air condition in meeting room needed to be replaced from ageing. There are many type of room: on the raft, building-single or multi unit in one building. There is no Shampoo and hair conditioner in the room, so you have to take your own.
Hotel through websites seems good and a little luxurious but upon reaching there, totally different. Only reception staff seems friendly and willing to help. Restaurant was ok.. staff rating 2/10. Can't be bothered attitude was all I received from restaurant staff . Never again !
Nice hotel in Kanchanaburi. We decided to held a small team building and seminar at this hotel. The room is spacious. Swimming pool is wide and good. The hotel has lots of space for conducting any activities. The downside is the food at the restaurant that is rather limited and plain. The location is very far from the city. During our stay, it was a major black out. But on the positive side, it provided us a better opportunities to be close to nature. The price is very competitive and it is perhaps the best character of this hotel.
Russian taking over the Hotel... Dinner at night with russian with almost no close.. Smoking everywhere and russians and management do not care, even when you have brakfast... Do not bring children. Management do not care... Noisy and we paid 3.300- baht per night for one room.. Breakfast do not eat, only for russians.. Staff hard to fine... Very expensive for food and other things. ONLY ONE STAR FROM ME... Very bad and my daughter have seen enough for dinner at night without close...
The resort is beautiful although it is in the middle of nowhere. During this period of the year, the scene over the pool is very nice with early morning mist. The staff is also very friendly and greet you warmly. The room is basic - you cannot expect much. But it is clean and spacious. Chambermaids do their job everyday, tidying the place every day.
Nice hotel good service, the is good, large swimming pool, fast WIFI signal n the location are close the place to visit sangkhaburi vashira dam n etc. the breakfast are fantastic event we're late to join. We will come back to stay hear again.
Pleasant stay at Nakakiri.Good staff and service, delicious food, best value, pool are nice A bit far from all of activities, but the resort near to Hindad hot spring...... It's a peaceful place. i will visit here again
The hotel itself looks good. Huge resort in the middle of nowhere between the river and mountains. A bit far from all of activities, I mean waterfalls and elephant camps, but it's near to Hindad hot spring. The rooms beside the swimming pool are nice, huge and well decorated. But it is more expensive. If you want to stay near by river on the raft you better choose another hotel - there are plenty of them. Why? Because here rooms on the river so simple, just like a monk cell. Yes, there's aircon, hot water and even TV, but nothing special. It should be more cozy, more romantic, more authentic in my opinion. I've seen hotel on thr raft witch doesn't have aircon, but looks and feels much better.
We had a very pleasant stay at Nakakiri. We stayed in a Pool View room, which was spacious. Decor was nothing special and the room lacked any real character but it t=did the job and had a huge bathroom. We weer 2 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of space. It was nice to be near the pool and worth the extra. The standard rooms re not well located and although the rafthouse looked interesting it was a long walk down to the river. Basically the resort is fine. Standards are OK, service is OK, food is quite good, but nothing special at all. Plus it is set up as a conference and group tour resort and bus loads of locals on a company jolly or buses of Russian tourists dramatically change the atmosphere and noise levels. We had both while we were there and although they did not spoil the stay they did change the experience. The big plus is the location as there are lots of places to visit in the vicinity (hot springs, waterfalls, Sangkhlabuuri etc..) and this is a really beautiful part of Thailand. In short, don't expect a small, local resort. This is a quite a big, busy resort. Not at all a bad one, but not a great one either but it is the best in the area and the area is worth visiting so if in doubt.... GO TRY IT!
