Gorgeous spot with lovely grounds
This is a lovely house, gorgeous character and charm to it and the size of the outside space is fantastic. The location is rural, car is an absolute must. Down a lane and in the middle of some lovely trees, you can walk to the local baker if you go down the lane and into the little ravine and back out the other side. But you can’t pop anywhere from here, so great if you want to be away from it all. Property was fine for our little ones but likely better for slightly bigger kids - the pool isn’t heated and it was sadly too cold for our small ones to enjoy it (this was late June).
Property owners are lovely but spoke little English which is the only reason I rated slightly lower but we managed.
The directions don’t take you to the property, the sat nav directions take you to the village nearby so we had to call the owners who came to find us at a nearby bar and showed us the way. So it was all fine but not sure how we would have found it alone.
Overall, lovely place.
