Ahh.. the countryside of Amsterdam. I love the setting of this hotel.. we had a good night here. So relaxing and distant from the city noise. I was a little confused at first with the room directions but got it soon after. Having a good rest for keukenholf garden.

Having stayed here previously we sort of knew what to expect so spoke to reception to make he booking and were glad we had. We requested a quiet room with a view which is exactly what we got, just a shame the tulips in the fields had been harvested a few weeks earlier. The superior room was spacious with lots of storage; minibar and tea and coffee facilities; bathroom with bath and walk in shower. Everything was as expected in the room - no disappointments at al and 3 great nights of sleep ensued. Breakfast was outstanding, a bit of a bun fight at times but the food and drink on offer were delicious and regularly topped up throughout the session. All staff we met were ultra friendly, ultra professional and great ambassadors for the NH chain.

Nice hotel, focused on business guests (there are a lot of conference rooms available). Nevertheless, during holiday season, a lot of tourists visit this hotel since it is in the neighbourhood of the beach and the hotel offers great prices on hotel booking websites. Very big hotel, few restaurants, fitness, wellness etc. We only used the breakfast which was very good and has lots of choices. The room was OK, clean, but a strange smell in the bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful.

I would strongly advise against this hotel as it is hugely overpriced and the rooms are extremely poor - one of the worst rooms I have ever stayed in for the cost. We stayed 1 night as a family cycle touring thro Holland. I booked thro central reservations and was not advised that the pool was closed. My children were very disappointed. The rooms are very shabby (see photos) with damp ceiling with ceiling tiles missing/holes in. Damp stains on carpets and floors. The shower room is not at all nice and was quite dirty. The curtains were so thin we were woken at 4am and there was noise til gone 3am outside. Despite it being a non smoking room people smoke in the rooms and so there was a permanent smell of cigarette smoke in the corridors and rooms. The bed moved ever time I or my daughter moved. The room walls are so thin you can hear and sense all neighbouring movement including people pacing up and down on laminate floors. Really NH Hotels this is shocking shocking shocking. Visit a Premier Inn in the UK where a room costs a fraction of your prices and they without quibble offer a regund on your accommodation costs if you had an unsatisfactory night. I had to argue endlessly with the management team about the cost and quality of the hotel, finally refusing to pay for the room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. As previous reviews state (and oh how I wish I'd listened!!) ..... stay away from this hotel. Do not be fooled by the main reception and new carpets there! This modern / tidy image all ends immediately beyond this .....beware

No trouble at all with checking in. We even got money back because we had to leave alot earlier. Didn't see much of the surrounding area though but the inside offers alot to do in this place with a nice place to eat.

We were here with our "Star tours" very well attractive with beautiful room, ground, breakfast, pool and have enough different floor activities to do in hotel. Highly recommended for this hotel. Walking distance casino too for refreshment.

To start with the positive things: * hotel area is nice (except it is located next to a high school * enough free parking spaces * close to the tulip fields, beach and the city Noordwijk and Noordwijk aan Zee *enough bikes to rent *enough information about sight seeing *only 20min drive from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport *conferance hotel with enough space for meetings During my stay these were the bad things: This NH hotel calls itself a four star hotel but is not having: *airconditioning in the rooms *ice cubes machine (if you ask at the bar, they give you a grumpy face) * housekeeping starts early and is loud (especially with the vacuum cleaner) *free but no fast internet *no refridgerators in (all) rooms During my stay, I found out that I had new matresses wich was a positive thing. Unplessent was the fact that the swimming pool was closed because the forgot to renewal the filtering system (you can forget, a new , your keys but not something important as that, the swimmingpool was renuweld a few month earlier but now closed during the high peak season for at least anoter week! Shame on them... The waste bin in the room was not cleaned, the shower curtains look dirty, the shower thermostat and shower head were not easy to move and also ready to get changed, the wall and floor could use some renovation... If you call the reception for ice cubes the answer was, I don't know, I don't have it at the reception, find it out yourself at one of the food and bevarage points... (this guy was a trainer for staff) that is not hospitality that was just rude... The bowling area at the hotel could also use some renovation (big bumps in the bowling alley, only small fingered balls and old shoes. Breakfast package overpriced 19€ for a few items... Normal breakfast was 12€ pp and the food is good. Not enough to do for children no aircastles, only some fatboys in the open areas My conclusion for this hotel wich I have allready visited over 20times for its location is that it is trying to improve but is getting older, needs reconstruction and more facilities if you want to have 4 stars.

Spent 5 days here on business. Great location, near the sea and tulip fields. Goid was very good, lodging comfortable and staff very attentive, particularly Nick, the bar tender. Know how to make a proper martini!

Very big complex of buildings, big reception area, just 10 min by car from the village, with BAD connection(only one bus per hour/ bus90). Behing reception there is a big bar and the restaurant EL SABOR, with really very TASTY angus burgers! Had reserved double room for single use but received two twin beds without top-mattress. The room is SMALL, with big working desk, small FRIDGE, wall tv with NUMEROUS channels, totally HIGH speed wi-fi, FULL iron-service on the room, electric kettle, very COMFORTABLE mattress, EFFICIENT air-condition, the bathroom is BIG with AMENITIES, hair dryer, big mirrow, MANY towels, but NOT slippers. Housekeeping every day PERFECT at all! The exterior area is well done transformed and you can have seats and one small BAR offers drinks and food. The breakfast is very TASTY, fresh juices, many KINDS of bread, sweet corner, very TASTY croissants, fruits corner, sausages, bacon, eggs, OMELLETES on request!, proffesional coffee machine offers ALL kinds of coffee (top QUALITY flavor espresso), plenty of cheeses/hams, very PROFESSIONAL staff, total cleanness in the big eating-area. Interior swimming POOL very clean and a total efficient SAUNA area! Dont miss it after a working day. Check-in and check-out very QUICK, with accurate responds about anything i asked. All staff so HELPFULL and POLITE. the hotel highly recommended for BUSINESS trip!

excellent service, friendly crew members. whole hotel buildings are clean and comfortable. located at rural area , very quilt, I like to take a walk around the hotel area, alone the lane beside trees and flowers.
