I've been staying here for two nights and I like the service, breakfast and kitchen. Especially one service worker hosted me nicely: Kendra just gave me the best room for my personal requirements and also gave me insider tips for restaurant and and public places. Thanks a lot!
Nice hotel with modern functional design, bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and a decent bathroom with both a bath and a walk in shower. Lighting is bright in the bathroom but a bit subdued in the bedroom. Breakfast was the usual cold and hot buffet with a good choice and ample coffee available. Good for a 2-3 night stay on business.
I stayed one night at the Crowne Plaza, the room was very well appointed, the staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast well appointed. I am due to visit Den Haag again and would use this hotel again.
Stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and baby over new year. we had a great room on the second floor with a balcony over looking the park , the room comes with a mini bar with water and a coffee machine and use of robes and slippers to make you comfortable during your stay , we reserved breakfasts this is cheaper than Turning up on the morning and we weren’t disappointed with the choice of section on offer from full English to pastries to fresh fruits and a waffle maker and they would even cook you fried eggs if you asked . We used the pool once which was great as my little girl loves swimming but unfortunately the sauna wasn’t on (think it was because it was New Year’s Eve around 6pm). The hotel is accessed by the tram 1 easy and you can pick up a ticket on the tram or at reception for the day and the tram runs to den haag city and the beach which have lots of restaurants and shopping.
I have stayed here many times, mostly with my family. It's close to our house, and has a good pool that keeps the kids entertained. A good weekend break location. No serious complaints about the hotel itself, but it's the attitude and attention to detail of the staff that's frustrating here. Without fail there is always a mistake with our reservation. We need connecting rooms due to the age of the kids, and an extra folding bed for the littlest one. The flooding bed is never in the room, and there is always an excuse about a mix-up in the reservation. This time they even tried to charge me 50 euros extra for the connecting rooms after admitting at check-in that they messed up the reservation. And they said that because it was busy that the folding bed wasn't available. I made the booking a month prior to arrival to avoid these exact issue. The staff have an arrogance about them, (not all - this is a generalization) but as a Canadian that has been living in the Netherlands for ~15 year, this is not a surprise. It's a cultural thing. . . Beds are comfortable, rooms are quiet and dark, health club is first-class, lots of parking (expensive parking), and the location is not bad. We'll keep stating here for weekend getaways, mostly because of the pool for the kids, but there are better hotels in the area for the same money.
Great friendly and caring staff, excellent breakfast, the beds are amazing. Flexible service, at all times wherever you need it. The health club is wonderful and a true added value to this hotel.Great for business. Great for leisure.
This is a good hotel, on a convenient location. Very nice rooms, nice bar/restaurant and friendly staff. The hotel has a very good Spa/fitness. One thing which must improve (therefore 4/5) are the stairways. (They are full with small containers (cleaning stuff)) In case of an emergency, it is not easy to use them, which should be! Surely will stay again!
Choosing the known hotel chain on convenient location - always a good thing. If you add a swimming pool you usually have a winner. The location is nicely located, close to tram station. The room was quite big (for European standards) as it was the accompanying bathroom (shower and bathtub!). Everything was very clean and nice. However some of the design aspects were not logical/practical at all - you sometimes wonder whether the designer ever tried to use actually them. Namely the lights in the bathroom are from the ladies' point of view totally user-unfriendly, They simply don't allow you putting on your makeup easily, not even the small make-up mirror. In addition, in the room, there is no light in the cupboard niche where the coffee machine is, so you cannot figure how coffe machine works at all. And if you have Nespresso coffee machine you would expect Nespresso coffee as well and not surrogate...at least not in this hotel. I could not control the heating in my room, and although the temperature showed 25 degrees C it was cold, so I skipped thd pool. The wifi was working perfectly. Am I being too picky - probably. Would I stay there again - most likely. It was rather nice stay, I just expected more.
I truly enjoyed my stay at the Crowne Plaza in The Hague. My room was situated in the new wing of the hotel and was very nice. Great bed, enough space in the bathroom. Shower and bath. Only annoying thing in the bathroom was that the shower was leaking water on the floor. Large television and a desk. Wifi is fast and stable. Small fridge, safe, bath robes, very quite room with no noise from outside. Breakfasts was delicious. Enough choices. No cook to make your omelette but there is so much to choose from you cannot eat it all. Delicious coffee. Great bread.
My 2nd time that I stayed here and will for sure come back. It was a really pleasant stay and we had a super nice corner room on club level. Sauna and swimming pool area is a real bonus which we like after a long day in the city or a beach walk in December. Bar area is super nice and breakfast has a great selection.
