Clean room, nice balcony with table and benches, beautiful greenery surrounding bungalows. Great place to wake up to the birds chirping. Friendly host. Very firm mattress.

Nice property with nice people individual bungalows, kind of a funny part of town, not touristy at all. But the prices are very inexpensive. Also, good place to land after scuba diving as it is near the dock.

I was traveling solo to do a few days of diving out at the Similan islands. Very convenient location about a 5 minute drive to the pier. Several decent restaurants within walking distance and laundry shop close by as well. The room / cottage was clean and very spacious. My only wish was for a softer mattress. I travel with a compact inflatable pad for this reason so it wasn’t an issue.

We can’t say enough to express how grateful we are to have found Baan Mek Lom. Everything was very clean. We loved the firm mattress and had very good sleep. The best part was the host/owner. No one tried to sell anything, but the minute we needed help, everything was taken care of. P.S. if you are traveling by car, you will have your own parking spot right in front of your cottage. 100% highly recommend this stay.

Room was lovely! Not driving oneself is a challange in this area (no Grab, taxis, other), but the lovely couple, that runs the place was very helpful and gave me a lift a few times. Surrounding area not overly charming, but it probably helps if one wasn't somewhat trapped due tó transportation restrictions.
