Everything was clean and nice. The ocean view rooms were recently upgraded and are exceptional. Staff were kind and helpful. Most encouraged staying on the property rather than exploring the island. Unless you have a rental, the air port will charge $50+ for transportation and 5 dollar per bag. However an airport employee gave me a business card for st croixs uber app which is on the App Store called “VI-Hail” so instead of paying 50+ I paid 37$ not including an optional tip which you can do through the app. I constantly told staff the phone in my room did not work so I had to use my personal phone to call the front desk to get transportation around the resort. Upon check out I received a bill of 68$ for an alleged drink I had paid for via card and four dollars in which was a donation. I quickly cleared this up and did not pay for a donation. I’m not opposed to donating but I much rather you ask than to have it charged twice on a bill without being informed. The front desk told me it was $70 to go to the airport during check out. I declined and used the VI-hail app. It was only $30. The front desk receptionist did not like this. I found that although everyone is mostly friendly they are against you spending money and time off the resort and with locals. However it was a beautiful stay. The food was great and the island was friendly and breath taking.

The Bucaneer resort and staff never disappoint. The place is beautiful and clean, and the staff is over-the-top friendly, nice, and accommodating. I cant stress enough how wonderful every worker on that property treats all of tge guests. Highly recommend vacationing at the resort if at all possible!

The room was clean everyday during my eight day stay. Also, the breakfast staff at the Terrace restaurant were friendly, attentive and courteous. The breakfast buffet was terrific.

The price is way too much for what they offer. The toilets are the weirdest small toilet I have ever seen in a hotel. We love St. Croix, we booked here for 1 night after our flight was cancelled, abd thought it would be an upscale treat. It was not.

The hotel and stuff was amazing. A great couples location for relaxing. Hotel restaurants had amazing food and the beaches and pool were peaceful with great amenities. Perfect location when you want to get away from life and enjoy peace, quiet and solitude.

I wanted to love the resort, but it missed the mark in many ways. Deferred maintenance, cold breakfasts, restaurants with repeating menus that were mediocre. Rocks and ants even made the beach less than desirable. Golf course was in poor shape.
