The apartment itself is very nice, comfortable, and well maintained, and overall we enjoyed our stay. However, I was a little disappointed by a few small details that I believe would have made a big difference, especially considering the price of the stay.There was a coffee machine but no coffee pods, garbage bins but no garbage bags, and no paper towels in the kitchen. These may seem like minor things, but they are basic conveniences that guests appreciate when arriving at an apartment. During my travels throughout Italy, I stayed at several other properties where these items were provided, often along with a complimentary bottle of water in the refrigerator. Also what bothered me the most is after paying such a high price the owner surprised me with an additional 6 euros for a city tax. He wanted it in cash or wired to his account…. I left cash. Overall, it is a very nice apartment and we had a pleasant stay for the night. With just a little more attention to these small details, I believe the guest experience could be excellent.
