We stayed here, just like other reviewers, as we attended a wedding in the next town. We had two nights here and went for a long walk all around the village and area. Friends just stayed at the manor and enjoyed the beautiful pool area. It was busy when we were here with a conference on . Our room was small but with a kitchenette and bathroom. For the price it was very good value and we enjoyed the country setting. Plenty of parking gives me all the reasons to highly recommend this 3-star lodging.

We stayed two nights rented a townhouse-style apartment off the main courtyard. There is a small kitchen area and living room on the main floor, and a bathroom, w/c, and bedroom upstairs. The floors and most of the structure are concrete and relatively new. The couch downstairs turns into a bed. The staff set up a portable crib for our daughter to sleep in. The staff at checkin was friendly and spoke English. Overall, the space is efficient, clean, and well-kept, but it will feel like you are roughing it. For the rates, though, it is a good value. The spa looked very nice, but as we were in town for a wedding, we didn't have time to try it out. If you plan to use the kitchen, you'll need to bring your own paper towels and other supplies. There is a coffee pot, but no filters and no coffee. There also is no corkscrew, if you buy wine in town. That's not a complaint against the hotel, but just be prepared to bring those items. We ended up buying them at the Carrefour in St Julien l'Ars.

This is a great place to stay if you would like peace, food and a pool. We stayed for a few days while touring the area. Our room was in the tower which was fun! It has everything you need, very clean and comfortable. A must if you are in the area.

We were staying here while attending a wedding nearby and the location was perfect. The whole set up is self-contained with attractively modernised outbuildings plus an outdoor pool and an indoor spa free for guests and the bonus was that the restaurant and staff were excellent. We had an apartment for four adults which in the first week of September at approx £200 for 3 nights was great value.

We had a great overnight stop here traveling south. We stayed in one of the chalet style houses with the kids taking one of the two bedrooms on the top floor and my wife and I sleeping on the sofa bed in the ground floor lounge. There was a nice kitchen and dining table plus garden so plenty of room for us. The overall atmosphere of the location was really nice, very relaxed and quiet with gardens and fields all around. The children liked checking out the animals in the morning while we packed up. Breakfast was the usual continental style with below par coffee but they also made an omelette for my wife.

Beautifull manor with cottages. We stayed in a cottage with our children (8, 4 and 2). They loved the pool and paddling pool. The cottage (nr. 27) was spacious with a downstairs livingroom and kitchen and upstairs two bedrooms, a bathroom and a seperate toilet. Only tip for the managment: change the posters for some decent canvasses. We would go again.

Came across this wonderfully relaxing Hotel with spa whilst travelling back to the UK as we were looking for something a bit different from the usual overnight stop in a motorway motel. This hidden oasis of calm was a small detour from the A10 and offered a truly relaxing experience. Our mini apartment with mezzanine was sparsely but well furnished, replete with kitchenette, and living area. The main attraction however was the wonderful outdoor pool overlooking the garden and the excellent restaurant (housed in a separate building) where tables overspill onto the terrace and diners are seated under canopy. Although we couldn't fit in a treatment we made use of the spa beyond our 11 am check out as we were told guests were able to stay all day.

We choose this hotel after looking for an overnight stop on our way to the Dordogne. It is a hotel with a lot of character. We had a lovely room with balcony overlooking the grounds, with a nice bathroom & small kitchen. The hotel is in the countryside with not much close by, so we ate a delicious dinner in the charming restaurant. There is a spa there but unfortunately we had no time to use it. A very good hotel for a short stay.

A friend and I stayed at Normandoux for our friends wedding and we were very pleasantly surprised. We didn't really know what to expect as it was just suggested we stayed there as it was close to where our friends were getting married. We stayed in one of the turret rooms which was huge with it's own kitchen and breakfast bar area. It also had a smaller single bed in addition to the double bed. The outdoor pool area is lovely and peaceful. As it's not a big hotel we were the only ones by the pool which was lovely. The restaurant for evening meals is very good and very reasonably priced! The breakfast area was quite tight when it was busy but fit for purpose. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful break.

We stayed for one night enroute to Southern Spain. Delightful location and we were able to sit out on the terrace for dinner...food was fabulous. The family room had a kitchen and lounge with sofa bed downstairs and a double room and bathroom upstairs so plenty of space. If I had one negative comment it would be they could do with upgrading the beds...ok for one night but no more. That said, it was so reasonably priced for a stunning location with great pool and spa.
