Convinient for shoping and eating because of connection to big mall. Room is fair. Cleasness OK. Sometimes outside is noisy (Machine sound.). Wifi used to be poor but recentry improved a lot. Somotimes shower is not hot enough. Overall acceptable.
Modern hotel with clean comfortable rooms and a good restaurant. There's a mall next door with anything you might need during your stay. A pro soccer team was there during my stay which brought many fans to gather outside. The hotel managed the crowds well and provided a safe environment for the guests.
The rooms are average. They have a buffet breakfast in the morning. No bathtubs, showers only. Convenient to shopping and cinema and restaurants at the mall. Sam's Club close by. Oxxo close by. Starbucks in the mall. Overall good stay. Enjoy!
While arguably the best choice for business lodging in town, Fiesta Inn Tepic has recently become the Federal Police Force's new operations base... or so it seems. While the law enforcers are kind to the other guests, you can't help but feel intimidated by the branding of high caliber firearms by the Feds. If you're ok being surrounded by Feds carrying high power firearms around the hotel and hanging around these guys at the hotel's gym (they seem to enjoy working out quite often), then I guess Fiesta Inn Tepic should remain your first choice when staying in town for business or pleasure!
Nice clean hotel next to a mall. Rooms are clean as well as the bathrooms, has small fitness room for who wants to work out. About 20 minutes away from airport. Breakfast is buffet with a cook that can prepare your favorites.
I stayed one night on business. Check in was fast and friendly, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Air conditioning was a bit noisy. Breakfast was fine, the staff were very helpful and always found a colleague that spoke English if there were any questions. On the morning of departure, after breakfast, I took the lift back to my floor. The lift door opened to reveal 20 heavily armed Federales. It was an unexpected situation which resulted in me putting my hands in the air. I guess I have seen too many films! They do have a sense of humour, the gringo was allowed to pass. I guess that security at this hotel is excellent. I would stay again.
Rooms are OK to stay. But.. Internet speed was too slow. You cannot use for movie at all. Even e-mail , you can feel slow. Hope this will be improved ASAP. Other than internet , I can say good hotel. I have never stayed this slow internet hotel during this 5 years.
Very comfortable beds. Incredible water pressure and lots of hot water. Clean room and quiet. Courteous staff and efficient. Prior to this stay, I have visited Tepic for an overnight in the city center at another hotel. From now on with future overnight trips to Tepic I will stay at the Fiesta Inn. The Fiesta Inn is also located next to a mall, movie theatre, and casino. Convenient location and safe. I was very pleased with our stay.
We have been traveling in Mexico for 35 years. We try to stay in hotels that are typical of the region. Tepic is a very interesting city, much history and beauty. Huichol indigenous are the most important attraction. In the Hotel Fiesta inn you will see NO sign of this city. A "cold, dry, hotel" is what you will find. We registered "online" from Culiacan, Sin, MX. No confirmation recieved. So I called, requested confirmation. "No problema" she said. No Confirmation. We arrived. We had reserved a " SUPERIOR King". We have never seen such a small room.We were assigned room # 109. The bellhop admitted voluntarily that he had never been in the room. We have stayed in rooms in Michoacan Pueblos for 300 pesos that were much larger. i asked the front desk about the room size. I asked " if this is "superior" what is normal and she said much smaller." Bye Fiesta Inn Tepic.
Fiesta Inn is doing a terrific job renewing all their hotels. Unfortunately this place hasn't see this renewal yet. Anyhow it's not quite bad, absolute business oriented, basic yet comfy. Considering the choices of hotels at the city, for sure this is the safest bet. Room service food was quite good. WiFi acceptable. The gym has seen better days but it's not bad. The front desk staff is attentive and polite. I'm not huge fan of the outdated rooms but there is less to complain about them, maybe the bath toiletries should be better and the amount of towels certainly can be improved.
