Apartment in an 18th century village in the regional park of the Euganean Hills
Located in a recently renovated historical building, this 110 sq m apartment is composed of 4 rooms: one master bedroom, one bedroom with double sofa bed, one attic room with double sofa bed, one big sitting room with kitchenette and two bathrooms. All rooms are tastefully furnished and combine ancient and modern furniture. Teolo is located in the northern Euganean Hills, to the west of Padua. Since the early 1900s, Teolo attracted many people and tourists thanks to a tram track that linked it directly to the administrative center. The oldest hamlet of Teolo is located on the upland between Monte Venda - the highest mountain of the Euganean Hills - and Monte della Madonna. It is well known because it is the birthplace of the famous Latin historian Titus Livius. In the 14th century, the population of Carrara chose Teolo as the regional capital of Vicaria, which survived to the domination of the Venetian Republic. The Palazzetto dei Vicari dates to that period, which is why it features a typical small tower in the middle of its façade; it is here that the aristocrats of Padua lived and managed the regional districts. Nowadays, after an appropriate restoration, the Palazzetto houses the Museum of Contemporary Art, which is named after the famous artist Dino Formaggio. The natural itinerary of Monte della Madonna, on which the Beata Vergine Assunta shrine is located, will allow you to enjoy fully the surrounding beauties. If you deviate from the planned route, you can go through the wood underlying the so-called Passo delle Fiorine, where you can find the ancient church dedicated to St Anthony the Abbot and the legendary Santa Felicita's Grotto. Moreover, in Castelnuovo you will find the Rocca Pendice Cliff, which attracts many rock-climbers thanks to its 130 m high wall. It also houses the remains of an old fortress, by now covered in vegetation, where the bishops of Padua and Carrara lived. In the 11th century, the Praglia Abbey with its elegant 16th century courtyards was built, along with a church that was renovated at the end of the 15th century based on the design project by Tullio Lombardo. Now it is home to Benedictine Monks who restore ancient books and manuscripts, but it is also a famous destination for religious tourism. Why not spending some hours in the open air and getting fit with your family? The Euganean Hills offer you the possibility to pass through typical paths, which will really give you unforgettable emotions: trekking, daytrips, bike riding, mountain bike, golf, rock climbing and the nearby adventure park called “Le Fiorine”. Grottoes, massages, pools, saunas and beauty treatments to escape stress and take care of yourselves without neglecting physical fitness. Wellness is at your fingertips. If you just want to rejuvenate mind and body, we suggest you to get to the thermal baths of Abano Terme, Montegrotto Terme, Teolo, Galzignano and Battaglia Terme, all Euganean thermal spots specialized in balneotherapy since ancient Rome... just 15 minutes away from the Domus Titus Livio. If you want to go further, we suggest you to visit Vicenza (the town of Palladio), Verona (60 km away, the town of Romeo and Juliet where you can enjoy a play in the beautiful arena), the spectacular Venice (reachable by train from the Terme Euganee station or by bus from Teolo) and Padua (the town of St Anthony and the magnificent Scrovegni chapel made by Giotto). If you are passionate about history, you can visit: 'Il Buso della Casarsa' - Valnogaredo 'Cini Castle' - Monselice (walled town) 'Castle of San Martino della Vaneza' - Cervarese Santa Croce 'Marchionale Castle' - Este (walled town) 'Castle of Valbona' - Lozzo Atestino 'Castle of Catajo' - Battaglia Terme Walled towns of Montagnana and Cittadella The Venetian villas on the Brenta River and those of the Euganean Hills. Children will love the most beautiful amusement parks of Italy located on the Lake Garda (1h by car), such as Gardaland, Movieland and Caneva Acquapark, or the Passo Fiorine adventure park just 5 minutes away from our property. If you have any doubts, you can contact our trusted tour operator in Bresseo di Teolo, who will answer professionally to your questions and satisfy your needs.
The apartment is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and 2 bathrooms, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms and a dining area. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a Smart TV with a DVD player. The bathroom offers hair dryers and bidets. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a sofa bed.

Terrific Teolo
Maurizio's apartment was great. It had everything that we were seeking. A market and a pharmacy are steps away. Two restaurants are even closer, one being practically just outside the stairwell door. I would definitely stay here again.

Rustic Authenticity with Modern amenities keeping with the culture and history of teolo. well done, beautiful styling. convenient to delicious food on all sides of village. Patience from all servers with English. Fall vistas of Euganea made it certain in our experience, that it is the best time to visit the Padova region and all its treasures.Thank you Teolo families.

On a scale of 1-10, a 9.8, or maybe 11.
This apartment is either the best self-catering we have every rented, or one of best two.
Location: Teolo, lots of up and down roads, switchbacks, glorious views and bicycle riders. The Piazzetta Bar and Ristorante is next door, pastries in the morning, then open at lunch and at dinner. Within 2 or 3 minutes walk are a fruit and vegetable store, a butcher/salumeria and a grocery. Also on that row is a Farmacia. A post office is a half-block away. The big Famila store in San Biagio, about 15 or 20 minutes drive, will cover you if you need it.
There are countless things to do and see within the Colli or just around the edges. Our favorite was the town of Este, with its medieval walls, archeology museum and the BEST gelato. Some places are only open weekends. Others have complicated hours. Maurizio provides brochures but you need to look up every single place online and make sure you have the information you need.
The apartment: Piazza Tito Livio, 15, is the European home I dream about. It is spacious, comfortable and attractively furnished. The kitchen has everything you can need and there is a washer AND a dryer. The bedroom and living room both face due east and the sunrises are BREATH-TAKING.
Parking is occasionally a challenge. There is a construction project underway the piazza is popular. In a pinch one can park a two-minute walk away in the parking area adjacent to the school.
Our Host: There is no human being kinder or more concerned than our host Maurizio. and he not only makes the best pizza imaginable, he delivers it to your door! (Saturday night is pizza night.) When we had questions I just texted on WhatsApp and he responded immediately.
Now I am not there. The sun will not rise over any hills outside my window, I will not hear a rooster welcome the dawn. I am so sad. I cannot recommend Domus Tito Livio too highly.

Perfect!
We loved our stay here. Teolo is such a nice town and the people are so friendly. The house is very clean and comfortable and Maurizio made sure we had everything we needed. It has been beautifully renovated with every detail in mind. The restaurant next door was our favorite and we have great memories of the friends we made there. Everyone treated us so well, we didn't want to leave!
The location, although rural, is convenient to anything you want to experience in the Veneto region. The apartment was very comfortable & felt like home. Eating places right outside the door. View from the apartment was beautiful as was waking to birds singing. Maurizio was a great host with a passion for baking breads & pizza & kindly sharing these with us :) I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful house in a great setting
We very much enjoyed our stay at Maurizio's comfortable, beautifully decorated and fully equipped house. The excellent airconditioning was much appreciated. Teolo is a lovely village, with several shops and restaurants, from where you can do lots of walking and cycling in the beautifully Colli Euganea or go for day trips to nearby walled and spa towns or Padova and Venice. We had a lovely week without needing a car, doing lots of local walking and dining.

Sehr angenehm!

Feine Unterkunft in vielseitiger Umgebung
