Comfortable bed, aircon working very well, also liked having the ceiling fan. Everything was clean and functioning properly. Tiled floor felt nicer than the carpets you find in some places that feel a bit worn or dirty. Quite a nice sized room, definitely not pokey. Great having the dining table & chairs & still felt spacious.

After reading some negative reviews about Bluestone I was wondering what I was in for. I was pleasantly surprised to find a tidy, a bit dated but slightly renovated room. It didn’t smell and the on site restaurant was convenient and was pretty good. Breakfast was also pretty good.

Very dated and price was not great value. Restaurant hours were till 9pm, we arrived late and went there at 8.25 pm to be told it was closed🙄. Electric BBQ was out of order, gas BBQ covered in dust and no lighter. One consolation: awesome shower!! Wouldn’t stay there again.

We were very disappointed with this motel at Tennant Creek. We paid $230 for a room that had dirty badly worn carpet, bed linen was well below standard, TV remote held together with tape and the bathroom so dirty it was unusable.

Bypass next time

I stayed on a Saturday night.. it was sooo noisy ppl yelling and screaming all night long literally. These weren’t the hotel clientele. There was dog fights and barking all night too..

I booked this accommodation as it was recommended by friends that had travelled through the Northern Territory. I was travelling with friends from the United States, so we had two separate rooms. They had no hot water either last night or this morning. They tried to contact reception on both occasions, not no one ever got back to them. We left before 7 in the morning. When I rang later that day I was brushed off by the person that answers and they never called me back. I expect some sort of refund for this appalling service and lack of available hot water.
