We stayed in August 2016 and enjoyed our stay. The food we quite repetitive but always yummy. The pool was nice, would be great for families with families with children. The receptionist wouldn't let us in our room until the booking "ticket" was provided which we didn't have and she had to go get approval from a manager to just take our booking confirmation instead, all other staff were friendly.
This is the second year I have stayed here and can't rate it high enough . Previously stayed at Med palace and Cleopatras palace that are 5 star but would def rather come here Lovely clean rooms with separate lounge area and balcony . Big walk in wet room /shower . Rooms made up and towels changed daily . All inclusive usually means stewed tepid disgusting food but all food in restaurant is fresh with massive choice . During day snack are served and is a smaller al fresco style eatery by pool. Lovely coffee bar that does fresh ground coffee all day . If you are thinking princess discil .. don't!! ( awful place) want value for money ?, come here . Have also been Best Tenerife , that is run down and again not a patch on park club Europe This is centrally located with shops and bars only a couple of minutes walk towards Crisrianos . Not too many English in this hotel but is that a bad thing? Highly recommended!!
Thanks to the staff for allocating me a room on the ground floor close to the reception and the pool.Lovely clean rooms. The best of showers.Staff were friendly and helpful.Food was great with lots of variety.
We had a pleasant stay here, the location is great and the staff is polite and always ready to help. We got an upgrade for a suite, which was wonderful, as we travelled with our 1 year old baby boy; the room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. There is a large outside area, lots of sun-beds near the pool, but you have to pay to use pool towels. The food is good (maybe there is some space for improvement on deserts and pastries), with lots of choices for each meal, but the restaurant has just large 8-seats tables, so in most cases you need to share the table with other people. The biggest downside was coffee...only instant coffee machines are available in the restaurant for breakfast and the bar, which has good espresso, opens only at 10 AM. Also, in 2017 I wouldn't expect to pay for WiFi in a good hotel.
We stayed here for 4 nights with family, we have stayed before, and the reason we booked here to celebrate hubbys 60th birthday is because of the excellent food at this hotel the location is good, hotel staff pleasant, and hotel is very clean. This tine we had our 3 year old grandson with us, and as we like to have a walk, my daughter asked at reception if there was anywhere she could hire a buggy for a few days. They actually have them at the hotel, its 20 euros deposit, and 3 euros per day, what an absolute Godsend that buggy was, he is a bit heavy for us to carry round when he gets tired. The weather was nice for January, nippy in the morning, and nippy at night, you will defo need a cardy for this time of year. We tended to eat at the outside restaurant, we found it more convenient with the little one. During the day if it was sunny, we went round the small pool, as it is surrounded by sand/pebbles, and nice and safe for play. There is a play park too, and small animals to look at. You will not be disappointed with this hotel, we do tend to stay clear of the big pool, it is quite bus. Would we stay here again? yes, if the price was right, its not the cheapest hotel, but it was a birthday treat for hubby, and the food more than make up for this.
+ Hotel has very good location + The front desk lady (Petra from Belgium) gives service a lot of added value & speaks fluently 5/6 languages + People from animation are doing a fantastic job - Although the all inclusive no discount for single people so I paid for 2 persons.... - WiFi is extra costs but on most rooms you have no connection (please people: we are in 2017!). For me this was a big minus since I was alone & like to keep contact with friends, etc. - Food was not special but as a Belgian we are very spoiled
This is our second year in a row spending a week at this lovely hotel. It's location is ideal, breakfast fab but to me some things have went downhill (excuse the cloudy weather that's not the hotels fault) they are minor but make your holiday an experience. The beach bar dj if he is there? is not a patch on last year, a highlight for us then. The large candles don't get lit either, on the deck. A lack of towels for the beds was disappointing a few days, I can only imagine what it would be like if it was sunny. Positive was that the pool bar was open all day this year. More double beds this year which may not suit some, but still very comfy. Thank god I didn't need to rely on the wifi. Overall, a really good hotel, hopefully not loosing their touch. Small things matter.
We booked here to enjoy the sun and for the comfort of all inclusive. The breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack/poolbar foods are all good and they varied menus teams during our week is much appreciated. But one thing I question is the seating in the restaurant whit only tables for eight people. Why? Sunchairs around the pool are not that many soo a discussion between guest happens sometimes if the chairs are "booked" or placed correctly. The real negative whit the hotel is that you only have free WiFi in the lobby. You have to pay for the rest of the hotel for each device. I payed for my phone 16euro for one week but in our room a specially during the evening my services I wanted to use timed out. It's very frustrating to not be able to reach websites you use daily. The hotel is very good if you are not concerned by my remarks above.
The 3 of us arrived, having booked a one bedroom flat. My daughter was going to sleep on the sofa. The friendly lady on the reception automatically up graded us the a much larger appartment with 2 bedrooms ..that was much appreciated. My wife is French and i Am English, if you want to be surrounded by lits of Brits this might not be the Hotel you want. Its very international so its a good mix. My self i liked the hotel very much the staff made it especially around the bar especially Zacharias he was great. The dancers were the best i have seen in any Hotel...the rest of the entertainment Staff we're very and spoke reasonable English. Alex the animator was very good he also worked at lunchtime cooking great Pizza.
I am actually at this hotel with my partner on our hols ... we visit Tenerife at least once a year and have always stayed in Cleopatra Palace for the past 8 years ... getting fed up with the same old we decided to give this place a try ... what can I say about this place!!! The rooms are so much nicer and have been updated to a more modern look than the Cleopatra so we are happy with the room ... the food is all inclusive but what we have found it is a mostly German hotel and all dining rooms tables seat 8 which is quite awkward when u don't speak German ... what we have found to do is go around 10.30 before breakfast is finished that way most guests have eaten so u can grab a table with not so many other guests at... breakfast was always only warm a bit off putting.... there is always entertainment on throughout the day if u want to get involved ... daytime there is a buffet lunch and then a selection of food of an evening... not very appetising unless u loved salads then ur in luck .... There is always evening entertainment for children then at 9.30 it's the evening show!!! We have been eating out of an evening as like I said it's quite awkward when u have that language barrier ... the hotel is very clean and all rooms are done everyday with fresh bedding and towels ...there is free wifi but this is only available at reception lounge... I can't fault this place to be honest only the large tables for dinner ... The place has a great location too ... if the language and large tables isn't a problem for u I would defo recommend 👍🏼
