Can’t fault this hotel in anyway just got back the food was amazing so much choice and I’m a fussy eater. The whole hotel is spotless and could just turn up a few clothes as all drinks branded names all toiletries supplied in bathrooms and beach towels available and spend nothing. It’s a 10-15 minutes walk from Las Américas as found so much more to do there as the Costa Adeje end looking rather tired now but as said 10 min walk from Las Americas end which was spotless and clean. Would highly recommend this hotel and will be back later in the year.
Lovely hotel, room cleaned daily to a high standard. Food good with plenty of choice. All the little extras made you feel like a valued guest. From the chocolates and water left in your room to the champagne on arrival. Staff work incredible hard to ensure you have a good stay. My only negatives are there is no ironing room. But you can borrow a travel iron for a €10 deposit, but no ironing board which makes the iron sort if useless. Extra hand dryers or paper towels in the wash rooms would be good. Entertainment fairly amateurish. But this didn't prevent us having a good stay. So would define return and recommend. But please get some ironing boards and a few good irons.
Not one complaint! Food/Drink service was excellent and so was the entertainments team. Cocktails were extremely nice and Food has themed evenings so is quite varied and there is always something for everyone. The waiters and bar staff provide a first class service and cannot do enough to help. On arrival we had either champagne or orange juice. We also had a problem with our keycard and reception resolved this quickly. Housekeeping was excellent too with towel designs made daily with chocolates too. Whilst over here I got engaged and asked the hotel to decorate my room and I was blown away by what they had done for free. See the pictures and you’ll be amazed. Clean and modern rooms. Pool area was great. Would return again
Nice enough 10 day break, but the bad outweighs the good, unfortunately.. I had seen previous reviews about the slight bank outside the hotel which the bus couldn't go up and thought it cant be that bad.... Wrong. It's horrendous to walk up. It's very steep and uneven and a nightmare to get up with a suitcase so my advice to you is if you're planning a holiday here, pay the extra few pounds/euros to get a private transfer/taxi and you'll get dropped off at the main hotel reception. However, this area of Tenerife seems to be very hilly/banky as they were steep leading down to the beach, the port and some shops. Not ideal if you have walking difficulties and as I'm recovering from a knee dislocation I found myself staying by the pool nearly every day. The staff said hello to you when they saw you but didn't really have any other kind of conversation with you, The staff in the restaurant barely speak at all, they are just there to clear your plates away. The Maitre'd (I think he was called Pablo?) was very friendly though. The staff in the Venus bar will only really talk to you if they recognise you from previous visits. I noticed on a couple of occasions when people were asking for straws for their cocktails (which are terrible, by the way...) One of the ladies behind the bar (Esther), would shove a sign in your face about the use of plastic and then give you the straw anyway, Elena seemed a bit grumpy unless she knew you.... I will however speak highly of Linda, Diana & Enrique. They were brilliant and Linda was very helpful when I asked her to Identify some food I had taken a picture of to find out what it was. Cocktails - A choice of 7 on the all inclusive menu - and only your very basic ones, all dispensed from a tap behind the bar. Not very nice at all. Entertainment - We stayed in the Venus Bar most nights as it seemed a bit quieter and there was no children running around - the entertainment here just consisted of a singer - all of which were good except from the lady with the trumpet. For such a closed in bar area it was far too loud. Reception - The staff here are amazing and very helpful. Stefano, Robin & Patricia (?) in particular. The day before we were due to leave we still hadn't received any form of transfer information for the airport and the staff did everything they could to try and get the information for us. They asked us to come back after we had our lunch, which we did and they had the information there ready for us. Food - The food was ok, not very hot though. themed nights including Japanese, Italian & Seafood (The latter we had three times in our 10 day stay). Canarias themed night was a big let down. I was hoping for a Mexican night during our stay but unfortunately they had this on the day we were departing so I never got to try it! The first couple of nights on our holiday we were given champagne when entering the restaurant, a lady would come round with a trolley of Liquors asking you if you would like one, there was shots of cocktails given out and sometimes were put on the bar at night too. This stopped for the rest of our holiday except on our final night, when they did it all again. On both occasions of this happening there were a team in handing out survey forms asking you about the service you had received in the hotel which made me think do they only do this at those times so they have a chance at getting a better review? Sadly I will not be returning to this hotel, which is such a shame because I have visited many Iberostar hotels previously but this one was a bit of a let down.
Just come back from a week at las Dalias, lovely clean hotel, great welcome from reception. Food is amazing!! Every drink you can imagine!!even port with cheese!! Men have to wear trousers in the evening. Shows are good the 3 Tenors are amazing. Entertainment team always busy, making sure you have a good holiday. Lots of sun beds with towels provided. My only moan is the sun advisor, she sounds so plausible, but telling people”please please please don’t wear anything over a factor 18,that’s total sun block, “ advising everyone to wear 15 and less to 8 and 4!! lots of burnt bodies. Every day except Fridays you hear the same speech, I think bad advice with confidence!
Just returned from this wonderful hotel can’t fault it no need to get up early for a sun bed unless you want one next to the pool plenty of empty beds all day. Food and entertainment brilliant. Lovely clean hotel . You can even have named drinks.sometimes you just get if not ask haven’t got anything bad to say about this hotel.
What can I say! got back yesterday from a 10 day holiday at this hotel. Amazing!!! Didn't want to leave.... the hotel is spotless, the staff are lovely and nothing is to much trouble. We had a room that was a little noisy due to air conditioning, as soon as we told reception we were moved straight away. we spent the rest of our stay in room 639. Lovely room, interconnectting which was great as my daughter is a teenager and needed her own space. Food was lovely, was hot and so much choice, fresh salad and fruit as well as fresh cooked meat or fish, themed nights which were great. The resturant was also spotless, clean and tidy. Slush, ice lollys snacks on the bar daily, a snack bar, what more could you want. plenty of sun loungers, no matter what time of day we went to the pool there were loungers for us to use. entertainment was good and both bars catered for everyone, arcade for the kids and a great location.... I promise you the hill is not that steep!! I am rebooking this week as I have persuaded extended family to come away to this hotel with us. Cant wait, roll on next year!
I have just returned with my husband & 4year old son . The full holiday from start to finish was amazing , jet2 is so organised and then arriving at the hotel after 20 mins on the bus was a perfect experience . Fresh ,clean all the staff are amazing they are so happy at the job ,friendly and just welcoming . Self service beer , cava , slushes, water & juice is just great , saves you waiting in any ques .
