Our first stay at this boutique hotel. The location is superb and we had a sea view from our balcony that was fabulous. It is a short stroll along the promenade to the town with a huge selection of restaurants. The hotel is bright and airy and the staff friendly and helpful. Immaculately clean. We stayed on a bed and breakfast tariff and the food was buffet style and fresh and tasty. Being adult only meant it was fundamentally peaceful although the surf board yoga was a step too far but there was activities organised for those that wanted. Good mix of young and old. Swimming pool is great and a complete restriction on blagging sun beds until 9.30 was a refreshing change. Evening entertainment was varied and of a higher quality from that experienced in other hotels. Only criticism was the hardness of the beds which made some uncomfortable nights. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely return.

Stayed here a few weeks ago being our third visit to this hotel which should say it all! It's a really lovely Boutique Hotel and adults only which is a great attraction. All the staff from reception, restaurant and cleaners etc couldn't be more friendly or welcoming - nothing was any bother and always greeted with a smile. The restaurant food was excellent, having 'show cooking' as well as a carvery, something for everyone. There are pool activities during the day and the evening entertainment is excellent and of a very high standard. It is spotlessly clean and in a great quiet location backing onto the promenade at the far end of Los Cristianos but only a 10 minute walk into the town and another 20 minutes into livelier Playa Las Americas. It is worth paying the extra to have a sea view room as it overlooks the pool, promenade and sea and has the sun from lunchtime. This is definitely a 4star hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking a relaxing holiday with good food and great staff! My husband and I are looking forward to returning again to our favourite hotel in Tenerife

We managed to get this holiday after cancelling our much anticipated holiday to Orlando due to Irma. We were very impressed on arrival as the hotel looked spotless with a very welcoming lobby and a lovely sea view room which was really clean. We didn't find the reception staff very friendly or helpful throughout our stay but the maid who mostly cleaned our room was lovely and cheerful and always left our room really clean. The dining room staff were in general ok but on our first night we were rudely instructed that the dining room was due to close in twenty minutes and I did try to say we had just arrived and we would be as quick as we could but he wasn't interested.we did feel pressured to finish our meals every day as the waiters are more focussed on clearing the tables and setting them up for the next service even being chased from a table and being told that we couldn't sit there as that is set for tomorrows breakfast . The bed was comfortable and each room has a coffee machine which is topped up every day. They do attend to the little things which are missing in so many hotels which is really nice. The pool is very small and opens at 0930 which you will find queuing for a sunbed before it opens. We went to the chill out area on the roof which was more comfy and very peaceful. The night time entertainment was actually surprisingly good, we loved the acrobats. The crazy golf across from the hotel offers half price if you stay at the hotel which actually was great fun. We couldn't pay to keep our room as the hotel was full and missed out booking the courtesy room as it was fully booked by the time we asked on the day of departure (you are not allowed to book the day before) but they let us use the showers in the gym downstairs Overall we would recommend this hotel ,they make terrific porridge and the food was actually really good with lots of choice. It was lovely and quiet at night after the entertainment finished which isn't late and as it is adults only, the other guests were mature and pleasant

We stayed at the big sur a couple of weeks ago.The Pro's When we arrived we were upgraded to a sea front room as it was our silver wedding Anniversary. We were greeted by a lovely bottle of fizzy wine and a few Chocolates which sadly I could not have as I don't drink.but lovely gesture. The bed had balloons and flowers on the bed in a shape of a heart which I thought was really thoughtful. The cons.im afraid the hotel was let down by cleaning staff,as unfortunately I got a bit of my spray tan on the sheet. They changed the bottom sheet then put the stained one on top. I had a drink of water out of a glass and the dirty one did not get changed all week. We were asked a day before we left did we want the linen changed, which was a pointless for one night. Also the frame around the mirror had thick dust on the bottom. Which I looked at everyday to see if it had been dusted , but no !Also we could not sit in the lounge by the bar as people were smoking, and Aldo out side so my husband and i had to go out for a drink. These things I'm afraid spoilt other lovely jestures

Situated on the sea front opposite the ferry port in the quieter part of the resort (although there are plenty of dining and drinking places minutes away). We were welcomed by friendly reception staff, given a drink while we booked in and then shown to our room which had great sea views. The room was well decorated and although not large was a decent size. A coffee making machine is available (no tea making facilities), mini bar (payable) and a safe which unfortunately you have to pay for, however there is good wifi which is free. For those who want to watch TV British stations are available. The restaurant food was excellent and it would be difficult for anyone not to find something they liked. The staff in both the dining room and bar were excellent and worked extremely hard and were obviously well managed. Drink (and food at lunch time) is very reasonably priced for a hotel. The hotel has to be congratulated for preventing guests rising in the middle of the night to "book" their loungers. Loungers are not available until 9.30 although even arriving at noon there were always loungers available. Apart from the pool there is an area on the 8th floor which is very quiet for sun bathing. During the day there are various activities to take part in led by the very friendly and happy Sam. Each evening there is entertainment in the bar which varied from a belly dancer to singers. It takes about 25 minutes to walk into the main area of Los Cristianos. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Spent a week at the hotel in the beginning of September to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. The hotel facilities and rooms were excellent with friendly staff, definitely a 4 star + hotel. The hotel is located with easy access to the beach at the quiet end of the resort. Most enjoyable holiday would return to this hotel and recommend other to stay there.

As I sit here in the reception waiting to go home I am sad to be leaving. This hotel is lovely. The decor, the food, the staff, sea view room, location and best of all adults only. The entertainment was a bit hit and miss in the evening. I guess it is hard to please such a varied age group. There are a few younger people but it is mainly couples and older people. Even the people staying here are friendly. A mixture of nationalities. We met nice Dutch and Belgian people. No rush for sun beds. Even when we went late to the pool you could always find one. I have never seen such a huge variety of food. Loved the grill. The crepes in the evening and pancakes in the morning are gorgeous. I could say more but you should try it for yourself.

The facilities, staff and location of this lovely hotel make it a great place to relax and enjoy a holiday. It's a medium-sized hotel, but even when full, it doesn't feel crowded. The rooms are comfortable and bright, and the chilled ambience of the reception literally a breath of fresh air on a hot day. The roof terrace, which is a quieter alternative to the pool, has brilliant views and very comfy loungers. Located in a relatively quiet spot, right on the front, means no trekking uphill after an evening stroll, which is a bonus given how steep some parts of Los Cristianos can be. All in all, a lovely place to stay.

We returned to this hotel in July to celebrate our 30th Wedding anniversary and revisit the place where we spent our honeymoon. The hotel was amazing, staff were fabulous, food, drink & facilities - top notch. Chill out zone on the roof was ideal for an afternoon siesta. Easy access to the promenade/shops - only 1 negative 👎- watch out for the grumpy cat 🐱!!

The hotel itself was lovely. The rooms not too spacious or luxurious as we would expect from 4* hotel. Furniture and bathroom facilities with scratches or stains. Although housekeeping team did their best each day. When checking-in we were informed about 'no shorts policy' at the dinner service. No mention on Booking.com, only at the hotel website in a small print in Spanish. Guys where adviced to buy trousers, however who would expect you can't find any trousers for a few euros at Los Cristianos. It took us 8 shops and 5 markets. I have to admit the breakfast and dinner buffet offered a great selection of food and we enjoyed every meal. The catering staff was very helpful and professional. The location is quiet, 10-15 minutes walk required to access restaurants or a decent beach. When booking the hotel as ADULTS ONLY we didn't realize the average age is 60 years old. Therefore the entertainment was more suited for that age category not to mention the looks of our fellow visitors when young group of people was passing by.
