Great hotel, lovely friendly staff, would recommend this hotel to everyone, trouble free stress free lots of smiles and a great pool, right next to the sea and a very short stroll to the nearest beach.

The hotel was great: Nice amenities, great room, all very clean... The food was excellent, the buffet was very varied with different meals every day. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Only minus point was the location... A little too far away from a nice beach and from some walking areas (except for the beach promenade filled with shops and restaurants)

10 days of bliss. No blasting pool side music, very little daily entertainment. A small pool with strict sun bed reservation rules works a treat. Adults only. Having stayed at many Tenerife hotels over the years, this place is by far the best. far enough out of the main strip to be peaceful and quiet, but close enough for a little walk on the coastal parade to be right in amongst the lively areas. The room was boutique, but well appointed. The food was buffet style, but with a fresh cooked section. We loved it and will certainly return again. Don't mis out on this one. I almost didn't want to review as this place need to remain special.

This was our second stay at this great hotel. I emailed the hotel 2 weeks before our arrival to request a room number and when we arrived we got our choice. Check in was fast and were told everything we needed to know. The room was not ready but we knew that as we had an early morning flight. Our cases were taken to our room by Nicolas he was very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, beds are really great. Bathroom is well equipped even a hair dryer. Now for the bar.... The staff have lost their sparkle! By that I mean they seem to take more interest in chatting to each other than serving, at one point there was 5 people waiting to be served and not one member of staff seemed bothered. Brink back Nico and DavidIsay. Theywas always ready to serve and have a laugh( he's now in the restaurant) still happy and ready to have a laugh! Food is still very very good and a very wide choice. So to sum up it's well worth a four star hotel and yes we will be returning in July.

We had a fantastic time here, the rooms are big and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner buffet are absolutely delicious and the staff is super friendly and the service is great. We were upgraded to an ocean view room and we loved it! There are activities every night by the pool and a mini golf just in front of the Hotel.

Had a fantastic birthday week here in December so good have come back in July Lovely style of hotel, very clean, pool was warm which was great ! Really enjoyed the water bikes (Jkme thank you) great fun and water aerobics. Entertainment was good especially a wonderfull soul singer Glen what an amazing singer! Food delicious and great choice staff in restaurants are so friendly and helpful. Overall great hotel highly recommended.

First adult only hotel i have ever stayed in and it was absolutely perfect. This was the first holiday me and my boyfriend had taken together and it just made our holiday. The hotel is beautiful, so clean and fresh feeling. The bedroom was very spacious and had everything we needed, very clean and welcoming. The staff work so so hard and they are a credit to this hotel from the cleaners, receptionist and restaurant/bar staff. The pool is lovely just a nice size and there was no problem getting a sunbed or snuggle chair..pool was very relaxing and completely hassle free. The food is the restaurant was brilliant...a lot of choice and very tasty. On arrival we were greeted with a bucks frizz and a friendly receptionist. I would highly recommend this hotel and i would definitely go back again. In fact i am looking forward to going back again in the future. Hands down an absolutely perfect hotel, i can assure you that you will not be disappointed.

This beautiful adult only hotel is just perfect. The staff are all consistently friendly, helpful and smile consistently. The service is outstanding - and I could not fault a single one of them. The entertainment in the evening was also very good with an excellent mix of music. We had the half board, and there was lots to choose from for both breakfast and dinner including stir fries of choice. The room is good - Spanish in style - nothing fancy but we spent so little time in it - it was irrelevant. We took a cab into Los Americanos one evening - about 5 euros - it was very busy and we were happy to back to our little piece of heaven. There is a very good policy of NO lounge hogging - no towels on loungers before 0930 and if it is not used for a certain time, they will remove the towels. This is a great idea because so many places you go to - you have to get up with the sun to get a decent spot. The pool is small but more than adequate for the number of guests and there is also a spa tub although it takes two people to turn on the jets. We had a fab room on the 8th floor - we paid the extra for a sea view and it was worth every penny. They also have a bag store area and a courtesy room to use if you want to shower before you leave as check out is 12. This was our only hiccup - we had booked for 315 and they give you 30 minutes - but they were calling us at 330 as they needed it back. That was a mad rush to have 2 showers in 15 minutes! I think they had double booked it.

We stayed at the H10 Big Sur for two weeks in June/July 2017. The hotel is quite small with only one swimming pool but this is perfectly adequate for the number of guests. On our first day there were no sun loungers available as we arrived about midday, but we had paid extra to upgrade so we had our own on our balcony/ sun terrace, some of the previous reviews had stated that there weren't enough for everyone.  We were a little disappointed that even though we paid a couple of hundred pounds to upgrade we still had to pay €36 for the safe! The upgrade was worth it in other respects though as you have water in your room every day and small gifts that are a nice touch, we even had a bottle of Moet & Chandon! There is a tiny fridge in each room that has a mini bar in that is reasonably priced but it would have been nice to have some space for our items too (the hotel doesn't approve of you removing the items to free up space) The following day the hotel took delivery of new sun loungers and there seemed to be a lot more of them so problem solved! You can't reserve them here like other hotels and they're aren't available until 0930 but this seems to work really well allowing everyone a chance to get one. There is a rule that unattended loungers will have your towels taken off them but in fairness we only seen this happen once or twice and they were left for most of the day which isn't fair for other guests. The pool is south facing and gets the sun all day and is right on the beach! We were very disappointed with the resort of Los Cristianos in general, the promenade is run down with the pavement broken everywhere, the nearby fountain had bottles floating in it and wasn't working, there's also a squat nearby that's looks intimidating at night, apparently the local council are in the process of evicting the squatters but this won't be complete until December?!.  There are no traditional Spanish bars and restaurants that you'd expect to find and everywhere pretty much shuts up shop at midnight! We did find a nice little bar right next to the hotel called Charlotte Bar which is very chilled with nice cocktails and great service. We've stayed on Costa Adeje twice recently which is a much nicer resort IOP. The hotel restaurant food is first class with plenty of variety and food cooked fresh for you at the grill, but this gets a little busy at times and the chef could do with some help.  All the staff have excellent customer service skills and nothing is too much trouble. Some more outside dining space could be considered (perhaps extend the terrace?), we queud a few times as we prefer Al Fresco dining and tables are limited. The entertainment starts early, too early in our opinion, and is finished by 11.  There were some really good acts such as the South Side Journal, Balance, a UK vs USA band and a talented Sax player (even though he was a little cheesy) there were also some not so good.....Tina Turner was really amateur. Finally there's a hotel cat that's like a local celebrity that we and many other guests took a shine too as he's a real character! We would return to this hotel if it was in another location but maybe not to Los Cristianos. We realise that the issues with the resort are out of their control, and this doesn't detract from the quality of the hotel of which is first class!

My wife and I recently had an eleven night stay at Big Sur , we arrived at the hotel at about 9.30 pm the staff made sure we went straight to the restaurant as it closed at 10.00 we had a lovely meal ,the food was always excellent with plenty of choice .Are room was very clean and comfortable. The pool area was very peaceful and relaxing for a sunbathe and swim . The evening entertainment was very good with some good singers . All of the staff from reception, restaurant, bar , pool and cleaning were all very friendly .This was are second visit Big Sur we definitely hope to return in the future.
