Booked this hotel as a cheap last min deal for 10 days all inclusive. Hotel room was lovey, however wasn't expecting it to be in the roof it was a studio but I was not expecting it to be a studio in a roof conversion with no view (this should be mentioned when booking). Other than that rooms were clearly newly refurbished and were very clean, cleaning staff were lovely and provided us with clean towels whenever we asked. Pool area is ok, not sure about the astroturf matches the overall new appearance of the hotel. Only down fall for this hotel really is the food, we ended up going out for meals as it was the same food for lunch and tea which got boring. Also ended up just paying extra for cocktails at the bar as after drinking the all inclusive cocktails all day/night I was still 'stone cold sober.' It was an OK hotel in a good location.
Lovely room with no faults. Could very easily cook a large family meal etc, bigger than my first flat. Pool was clean with no issues. Drinks were very good and he bar staff were very flexible. Food was ok, not a mass variety but always fresh salads and breads. The only downfall which ruined it for us was the entertainment. There was a kids mini disco which was shocking. One lady doing facepaints on all the kids which took all night as didn't start until late. The other was trying to get kids to dance but wasn't happening as not very encouraging. A few singers on the odd night but very karaoke. The Dj was absolute shocking and thought he was at a rave, bearing in mind the dance floor was about 6x6. The daytime entertainment consisted of water polo and occasional pool. The staff were all very nice. The shop was very expensive but there is a Lidl across the road which has everything u might need, along with a park and a few bars. There's a small rank of bars 20 mins walk away or 5euro taxi. The shopping area is nearby and has lots of designer shops, perfume shops and gift shops. Lovely place but the lack of entertainment killed it for me. I booked with First choice so got Siam park free and that was excellent.
Worst holiday place we have ever stayed in. we had a room in the roof, the sky was our view through the skylight ☹️ We Are a couple and had 2 single beds of which 1 collapsed while my husband was laying on it (it was fixed) The air conditioning was in the kitchen area and not in bedroom area where it's needed most. Complained and asked for a different room but was quite rudely told that we could if we paid £25 per night then we could 👿 Absolutely disgusted that the pool didn't allow inflatables, so many families were buying these for their children and were then disappointed as they couldn't use them. This is not made known when you book your holiday. The absolute best part of our stay here was when the animation guy Ivan was around, absolutely Brilliant at what he does.THANK YOU Ivan👏😘 One of our group unknowingly put towels on some sunbeds before she went to bed, in the morning they were not there so I went to reception to ask them if they knew where they were and a girl went into the room next to reception and came out with our towels that had been dumped in a bin... Very rudely told that u weren't allowed to save sunbeds (my friend didn't know u couldn't do this so this was a genuine mistake). Would never recommend this hotel☹️
As a newly married couple we stayed at this hotel from the 3rd to the 10th September for our honeymoon. Upon arrival we feared the worst but to be fair it wasn't too bad. The Rooms The rooms were very nice just recently redecorated I understand plenty of room for the two of us with a separate bedroom a kitchen and a nice big bathroom. Plenty of English channels on TV, no air con instead a ceiling fan in the living room and in the bedroom. Entertainment Well to be fair the entertainment was rubbish so enough said. Food Another big let down was the food there just wasn't enough choice and a lot of the time it was cold. I know all inclusive is some times hit and miss but I just don't think this hotel is geared up for all inclusive. Drinks Drinks weren't too bad really and you could pay extra for branded drinks if you wished. Pool Pool was very nice and with how hot the weather was it was plenty warm enough, plenty of sunbeds even about ten double ones . Overall Tenerife is a lovely place and we will certainly return next year for our first year anniversary but to a different hotel.
Came here with my friend for 7 nights, Our first time in Tenerife, very happy with the hotel and would come back! Good points: 1) The all inclusive is great. Brilliant choices of drinks including cocktails, local baileys, beer, wine and sangria self service station, milkshakes, various coffees, hot chocolates, pepsi, 7 up, vodka etc local spirits. I have stayed in many all incs and for a 3 star hotel this is very good. 2) Hotel very clean, workers are constantly cleaning the hotel and restaurant 3) Friendly staff- always greet with you with a hello and a smile, also like to get to know you which is a nice touch. 4) Locaton is great- 15 mins to centre, with bars and restuarants along the way. You have veronicas strip which is for the lively, and to the left of the hotel you have los Christianos which has many lovely restuarants along the beach. 5) food- different themed night each night which mixes it up. Also have salad bars, nice dessers including a chocolate fountain. Breakfast you have full English, cereals, fruit, pastries, yoghurts so much choice! 6) siam park included-this waterpark is amazing and I was so glad it was included in the price! definitely need to go would recommend. We went a few times it was that good negatives: 1) Entertainment- not great. Staff work hard to keep guests entertained but it can get very repetitive. Mini discos for kids at 8 with same songs for around 15 mins then that's it. Rest of evening consists of karaoke or general music 2) wifi connection is poor overall positives do out weigh the negatives. if your looking for a good value hotel come to this one.
Fantastic hotel fantastic place would recommend this place, there is security that walks around through the night so it's very safe place to be lovely pool, we stayed self catering so cannot tell you what the foods like but it smelled amazing
Pleasantly surprised about this hotel after reading some negative reviews. On arrival check in was smooth, receptionist was friendly. Our one bedroom apartment was a good size for two adults and two children, one good sized bedroom, sofa bed in lounge area, kitchen and bathroom together with a balcony. No air-conditioning in the room which to be fair we knew we wouldn't have when we booked the room. It had a ceiling fan in each room above the beds which was perfectly adequate The hotel was clean, staff were relaxed and went out of their way to be helpful. Food was warm replenished regularly, plenty of choice even for the most fussy people. On going improvements were going on at the hotel on the floor above but in no way affected our holiday. We would use this hotel again and recommend.
Went for a week in August with the kids. The whole place was a massive anti climax. The pool was tiny, the food was poor and cold. We're not fussy eaters but even the kids turned their noses up at the food. Thankfully there was a decent place over the road to eat, although when you're all inclusive you don't expect to be paying out all the time so you can eat properly. The "entertainment" was poor. A dj playing dance tunes to families was never going to work. A club - yes, a family resort - no. The room had very good air con and plenty of space - the sofa bed was like a torture rack. Our room faced the main road so we had plenty of noise. That said, the staff were brilliant. The rooms were spotless, the restaurant was always clean and their levels of service and politeness was over and above expectations. The free passes to Siam were brilliant- just watch out for rip off taxi drivers. I wouldn't go back to Compostela which is a shame because it could be so much better.
Having read many different reviews we were slightly worried, this was our first family holiday abroad in a while. We should not have been concerned. We have only been back a matter of days. From arriving at the hotel we were booked into a two bedroom apartment which were very large and very clean with all the mod cons infact we could not have wished for a more better room. We had asked for a pool view and boy did we get one, we also had a very nice patio area with two sunbeds aswell as patio furniture. The pool is nice and the deepest I think is 1.4m but big enough for some good family games aswell as the pool volley ball that the hotel puts on. Siam park is at the most a 7 euro taxi ride away which you can book at reception, always turns up in a matter of minutes. There are plenty of rides at the park aswell as plenty of places to eat. We paid €23 for five baguettes and 5 drinks. We then went again another day and went to the eatery at the beach (wave machine) and bought 5 burgers and 5 drinks this cost €47 and was disgusting. Extortionate. Siam park is well worth a couple of visits take pack up but bury it deep in your bag, they take a quick look in the top but don't go any deeper. Back to the hotel, staff are great, very friendly. The catering staff are hard working and never stop. There's always plenty to eat and plenty to drink. We found the food better at night time than any other time in the day, just be prepared to try different things.. There's also games to keep the kids busy at night, pool (2 tables) air hockey, darts, table tennis.. Across from the hotel is a small shopping park, what you see from the hotel is the back of it so a five min walk and you have a supermarket, park, ice cream parlour, Clothes shops, a nice bar called Loft they have music on at night and is good to sit out and have a few cocktails. Reasonably priced bar with friendly staff.. Everyone is friendly . If you need to know anything else please ask.
Had a 10 night stay here, arriving on the 1st of august as a party of 6. Would 100% recommend this place to anybody looking for a reasonably priced holiday. Every member off staff was nicer than the next, couldn't be more helpful. Ideal location, everything was in walking distance. Anyone who has put a bad review about this accommodation must be looking for 5* accommodation so therefore need to pay 5* prices! This holiday was worth every penny and more that we paid for it, would go back in a heart beat.
