What can I say? Well for one the smell outside the hotel is vile, which looks like a multi-storey car park by the way. We was herded like cattle during breakfast and it seemed that it was too much of a task if I dare ask for something. I wouldn’t stay there again if you paid me, I did make a complaint while I was there and was offered some small gesture on my last but one night (little to late ) I would have much preferred that the issues I raised at the time was dealt with and an apology offered, instead of being challenged. • No water for a few hours one day • Electricity tripped • Cleaning was hit and miss All they needed to say was “sorry we are dealing with this matter.
We arrived at about 4am. First impression was that it was nice. The lobby was open but s little outdated. The female clerk who worked the front desk was not very kind or accommodating. The older gentleman was ver sweet and helpful. We got to our room and when we opened the sleeper bed roaches came out. We requested to be moved rooms and the room we changed into was much better quality. The breakfast buffet was lacking a little but overall was okay. The pool area was gorgeous. I loved that you could swim right up to the ledge. The pool was absolutely massive and there was a terrific amount of chairs and places to lay. The pool was extremely cold. Too cold for me to swim comfortably. The all inclusive alcohol beverages were very cheap tasting, but they were ice cold. The hotel itself is in need of a major renovation. Seeing it from outside in the daytime it almost looked like a prison. The location was nice and only a short walk from the beach. I would consider staying again if it were free or severely discounted.
Me and my family booked a last minute holiday and saw the reviews it look just what we were looking for 3* hotel which should be more like a 2* it's looks like a prison from the outside but you can get over that the rooms are extremely dated with mould in the bathrooms Mia match of tiles smoke stains in rooms and paint just slapped on the walls with no fans in the rooms or air con we went all inclusive which really isn't all inclusive as you have to pay to rent a fan which pay to rent a hairdryer pay for drinks at the bar unless you want the disgusting watered down drinks that are included the pool is a sea water pool which is amazing but around the pool area is a health hazard no ashtrays so fag butts everywhere tiles missing concrete floor chipped and sharp some of the staff are loverly other on reception extremely rude!! We eat out after the first meal we had the food was disgusting they allow cats to eat outside the restaurant and even walk into the restaurant and roam around the kitchen!!! Four days of our stay we had no hot water there was no apology or even a explanation!! The town itself is loverly a little fisherman's town not a lot going on but beautiful in its own way!!
The hotel would make a fantastic place to stay if they updated/decorated not only the bedrooms but throughout the hotel. It is dull and tired and dates back to the 80's. The "all-inclusive" drinks were very watered down. Food ok, but we were surprised that because we arrived in time for lunch on day of arrival, we were not allowed lunch on the day of departure, even though we were not leaving until 5pm! The pool is fantastic, needs concrete smoothing around pool though as it is rough on your feet. Would visit again in a few years time if given some TLC
Well where do I start, 1stly the outside does look like a car park but I've not gone on holiday to spend my time looking at the outside of a hotel. When inside yes it's basic BUT what have you paid? 3* or 5*?? It's a lovely clean hotel with very large APARTMENTS not room yes a separate bedroom to lounge/kitchen. The pool has to be the best I've ever seen, truly breathtaking, watching and hearing the sea with gentle waves coming into the pool which is enormous is just wonderful. Yes you get seaweed init it's a SEA filling pool huh what's so bad about that? Yes a few days into our holiday the pool was a little slipery under foot (nothing much mind) and guess what happened OVERNIGHT? It was drained and scrubbed and reopened by the following morning for another glorious day by the pool. The pool area is a little worn in places but its being upgraded as i write this, wear flip flops anyway the tiles get hot and it's not neglected it's where the salt from the pool has eroded the area. Let's go to the food, again I'll remind you its 3*. The food was fine not 5* but a good 3* we are very fussy but ate fine every meal. Breakfast the usual for most hotels, midday meal - salad (yummy) a fish, chicken and another meat plus chips and pizza and always pasta and sauce. Plenty of breads and cold meats. Evening meal again the usual 3*. Plenty of choice, if your not happy go out to the lovely local town and try the local food. Very reasonable prices 2 courses with wine for 2 people @€35. Yes you can only get 2 drinks at a time, not sure about you but I've only 2 hands and 1 mouth, there's no limit to the times you can go up to the bar :) The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful and always smiling a lovely 3* hotel and after our 2nd visit in less than a year we will be back :)
Myself and 2 friends have just recently come back from a lovely 10 days away at this hotel. We were a little worried after booking our holiday from reading the review but I can honestly say I had one amazing time. The entertainment on a night time was really rather good and something different on a night. We didn't get involved in the games during the day apart from the Zumba in the pool which was hilarious!! 10/10 effort to the little rep 😂 Regarding the food it is a little repetitive but all inclusive always is although I really enjoyed the food The staff were friendly and always happy to help, the blonde lady on reception was so good to us and I would like to say a big thank you, with us speaking no Spanish she made us feel at ease. The only complaint I do have is the wifi, this was very little nonexistent hardly ever worked so we rented a tablet which I would definitely recommend. This is limited though so when it runs out you have to go down to reception for it resetting. The rooms were very clean and tidy and the maids kept this clean everyday although one day we had the do not disturb sign on the door but the maid still entered the room which I was a little angry about. The area around the hotel is a little quiet and if your wanting a relaxing holiday like we did this is the place for you. Craig's our rep sold us sian park and loro park tickets and would defo recommend. He even told us about the bus routes of the different places to go I would defo recommend this hotel and I will be planning another holiday here in the near future Thank you very much to all the staff to made our holiday ☺️
The pools were so dirty the kids couldn't use it for two full days even after complaining the pools still weren't cleaned. Around the pools the floor was just pure stones many complained to be told it was being refurbished.! WHEN.? Food was hit an Miss either fish an chicken or chicken an fish. The bar was a joke with one mirseable staff serving the whole hotel ques out the door. The place outside looks like a 1960 carpark an not much different when u get inside
I.m here and we want to come home . One more sleep left . Food is repeated. Rice fish salad . I know it's 3 star but we went off the pictures they show and didn't read reviews until now . Rooms and corridors are something off the shinning. Pool is full of scum. Kids pool off for two days while they waiting for it to be drained . And the floor is so bad .the kids had to wear there flip flops in and out of water . No shade around pools. And bar staff only intrested in people paying . The all inclusive get the look . Slush not included. No beach snacks. Because you can't take food out of restaurant. Even tho there no air conditioning and just old fans on cleaning. I am so disappointed. That I had to take kids out to eat and can't only get two drinks and go back onto the que. One bar person . And cocktails from a tap . That I don't know what's in . Don't book here You will be dissapointed . Even the reps know the truth . But just nod when complain. Love holidays should be ashamed . Advertising this holiday
A lot of the reviews on here are pretty harsh. It is exactly what you would expect from a 3* complex, in fact, it is a lot cleaner than most 4*'s. The food was what I expected, it is self service buffet style and it was never cold as some reviews suggested. They change the theme for dinner every night, I particularly enjoyed the Mexican night! We had a our 2 year old daughter with us and we were provided a cot for the apartment. The apartment itself was very spacious, a lot of room for a 2 year old to run around! We requested a sea view and were given this. The pool was fine as was the bar and all the staff were very very nice. It is in a great location, only 5 minutes walk to the local beach on Las Galletas, which is very rocky but also sandy in places, and is a 20 minutes bus ride to the larger beach town of Los Cristianos. The rep's, Craig and Sue, were very lovely and friendly with great directions and advice. There is also a lot of other things to do nearby with nice restaurants and cafes all within walking distance. The exterior could do with some paint, but as soon as you walk in to the reception area you can see that the outside does not do it justice! Workmen were already staring work on the two fountains and I'm sure they will be getting around to the rest soon. We were disappointed that WiFi was not included but the tablet service they offer was very good and not too expensive. Overall for the price we were very pleased!
This does not pretend to be the best, poshest hotel in Tenerife, but the price reflects this, and the front of the building looks like a 1970s concrete car park, but this design cleverly creates refreshing draughts in the corridors during the day without the need for air conditioning. It is about a 20 euro taxi ride from the South Airport, which is much better than sharing a transfer with goodness knows how many other hotels, which can take ages. Inside the rooms and outside could do with refurbishment but the rooms are perfectly acceptable, a good size, and absolutely fine for the short time you are actually in your room. If imperfect grouting in the tiles and paint flaking from exterior walls trouble you then go to a much more expensive hotel. The staff here are all friendly, especially the Animacion team for children, and helpful, food is OK (not gourmet but perfectly good for the price of the all-inclusive, there is a wide choice of hot and cold food for breakfast, lunch and dinner). As a previous reviewer said, it is a shame the bar closes at 11pm, but there is nothing to stop you 'stocking up' on drinks on your table at the side of the massive pool. A real jewel, but little-known as you are not told about it when checking in, is that there is an English rep on site every morning from about 8:45, who will tell you what's what in the area and answer any queries you may have. Sue has been doing this for over 5 years, and would not still be there if she just recommended rubbish things in exchange for back-handers. Either Sue or her son Craig are there every morning, and they are THE MOST HELPFUL and knowledgeable people, and there is no additional charge for their services. Another little-known fact is that Sue and Craig collect any left-over toiletries or clothing that people would normally bin at the end of their holiday and give these to local homeless people. As Sue and Craig probably only see about 10% of the guests in the hotel I do not know why the hotel does not say this to everyone when they check in. I would also strongly recommend paying the small amount extra for the 'tech pack' if you want to use Wi-Fi, as the standard hotel Wi-Fi is rubbish, probably partly because so many people are trying to use it. The tech pack gets you your own Samsung tablet with Wi-Fi hotspot which works perfectly. To summarise, if you are not looking for somewhere posh, but just a perfectly adequate room, 'free' drinks (lager, wine, local spirits/cocktails, water, squash, carbonated soft drinks, tea and coffee) all day, a large salt water swimming pool (the Atlantic is so close that the waves literally come in to the pool sometimes) to either swim in, stand in or just laze beside, then this is the place. We have now been here three times and, as long as you don't go with unrealistically high expectations for the price, you will not be disappointed.
