Played a quick 9 holes, only $25! Pretty course. Dinner was wonderful..try the Halibut. Room was very quiet, comfortable bed.

Like the hotel just old Tv not in good working condition blankets smell old

Room was a little outdated but was clean and had a nice little balcony.

This should be a 2 star hotel. La Quinta and similar hotels are in better shape. Mattress folded like a soft taco when I got in the bed. No flat screen TV in the room. Bed spread was from 1970. Everything else in the room was from 1971. Air conditioning did not work. Actually it did. It pumped out 45 degree air even when the thermostat was set to 80 degrees. Had to turn it off, which led to another issue. The staff put me in a room right next to a wedding reception. I was not there for the wedding but I got to hear every drunken scream all night and danced to the "YMCA" by myself in my room. I called the front desk to ask why they would put me and not someone who is there for the wedding next to the reception and they told me they never thought about that.

Very friendly, professional staff; clean, comfortable, convenient room (the bathroom was in need of updating but everything worked fine;) nice pool area. Conveniently located next to freeway with great dining and shopping options a few miles away. The golf course is interesting for all levels of players and well-maintined. We definitely plan on returning!

Upon check in, staff was awesome and upbeat. Rooms are dated, tv static, cob webs in the closet, towels stained. First night, slept well, 2nd night I was housed, between,a family and a group of 4...due to the rooms being connected by an inside door, you can hear "everything." The group of 4 rented the room specifically to party. I did call the front desk. All in all, great location, however I will not be a repeat customer.

I arrived to find that I did not have a reservation. I was told that you were supposed to fax them when a reservation was generated and you did not do that. I was told by the front desk that it would be more effecient and cheaper if I called the Hotel and made my travel arrangements directly with them. It took me 32 mintues to get a room. There was a huge event which I was attending in town and all hotels were booked. I have never paid $170 per night and treated so poorly.

Our stay was terrible. I will not recommend Pala Mesa. The first night we were advised of a wedding going on by our room and that we would probably hear music till 11:00 pm. We did hear loud music, the band could have been in our room it was so loud. The second night we were not informed of another wedding, when we arrived back to our room we noticed the wedding party. We called the front desk and she then advised there was another wedding and again there would be noise until 11:00. -NOT HAPPY... the clerk did move us to another room, another inconvience to our stay, after the first night we really wanted to be able to get some sleep, the clerk was not willing to allow us to cancel our reservation for that night without charging us. The second night apparently we had the wedding party next to us, there were loud people in the room next to us drinking and fighting and then being loud all night.... apparently the walls are way too thin.. I expected a nice stay and we were very very disappointed.

Very reasonable price for a nice room, good food and a fun golf course.

The hotel was a great value for the price. The grounds are gorgeous and the rooms overlooking the fairway are amazing. In-room accommodations were good. What would have made them GREAT are (1) internet connection, as it sucked! (2) shampoo + conditioner, as they only provided shampoo conditioner combo that made my wife complain, and (3) free water, charging $3.50 per bottle of water. The grounds, however, made up for everything, as the rooms were quiet, the grounds were lush with greenery, and a good country-club style restaurant. Great for foodies and wine-lovers to stay on their way to Temecula wine country.

Tried to check in early (noon) and ended up not getting into our room until almost five. The room I payed extra for had a view of the parking lot. Disinterested staff and dated rooms.

Nice grounds but hotel needs renovation. Felt old and musty, heavy duty smell of mildew. Mostly senior citizens as other guests.

Went to a wedding at the resort. The wedding was very well done and organized. Had a great time! Our room came with a balcony overlooking the pool and the hills. The only thing I had a problem with was the showerhead. It was adjustable in two places and when I turned it on, the head was facing up, spraying water all over me, the floor and the ceiling. I was able to adjust the showerhead once I turned the water off. Other than that, the rooms were clean and neat with comfy beds.

I had absolutely no complaints regarding my stay. The room was more than I expected in size/beds/quality. Staff was great. A member in my party actually left a valuable behind and when we called the following day they had it set aside in their lost and found. Beautiful property that is clean and quiet. Latest check out time around. I would return.

My boyfriend had a wonderful time.

Room was clean, modern and very quiet! We didn't hear a sound from any rooms around us. It is tucked away and off of the freeway, and we were pleasantly surprised by the room and staff after reading poor reviews. We decided to go ahead with the reservation and we are glad we stayed there. The rate was less than a chain hotel and the room was located on a quiet golf coarse. Very nice!

The room was quite nice, roomy, clean and very nicely finished out.

nice clean room. free internet. comfortable beds. restaurant has good food and happy house specials. walls are thin, could hear neighbors tv and other neighbors snoring

First of all, we decided to take a get-away and was looking for some place to stay less pricey than the Pala Resort and Casino. This was it! Very nice room. Nice amenities. We read most of the reviews and there were a couple not so good. Well, that was NOT what we experienced. We had two queen beds that were a bit bouncey, but we slept like logs(one to a bed). The quilts were very cozy and we enjoyed the balcony and listening to the night sounds and then the morning ones... We got the room for @85 for the night and that was a good price. Any more would have been too much. We "played" at Pala and the drive was a little much in the darkness of the night. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the facility to others who wanted to stay in the area. BTW, the freeway noise becomes "background" and is not a problem.

This hotel was very convienent for business in Fallbrook. The rooms were clean but the heat did not work in room 205. It was 39 degrees outside so it was pretty chilly inside. Shower head kept falling off during my shower, hot and cold water valve was installed in reverse so hot was actually cold. View from room was nice and staff was friendly. I would stay here again but I would not stay in room 205 and I would check to make sure everything worked prior to needing it.

Thanks for your review, Cindy. We agree, the halibut in the restaurant is divine -- all thanks to our Chef that hand selects the freshest seafood. Next time you visit you will have to play all 18!
