The listing photos show the outside (front/back) of a house. But you are not renting the house and you are not alone in the house. What you are renting, essentially, is the rec-room portion of the house. The rest of the house is actively occupied. We met 2 other lovely couples. One couple apparently lives in the main, upstairs portion of the home. Another couple said they were watching the property for the owners, and staying in yet another sectioned-off part of the home(?) that is partitioned off from this listing by a makeshift door. Not a big deal unless you were hoping (as we were) for some actual solitude in the mountains. Instead, we could hear/see the other residents and their 3 dogs, as I'm sure they could us. This made any use of the outdoor and patio space awkward, as it felt like an intrusion on those living/staying there; you're effectively right outside their windows (which are all open during the summer). The owner or residents also had some small construction project being done during our stay, so we also got to "enjoy" the workers, their circular saws, and another dog. The master(?) bedroom mattress is old and sagging terribly in the middle - so you'd better hope you like really sleeping on a slope and snuggling anyone who might be sharing the bed with you. And there's really nowhere to sit and eat - the small table in the kitchen with 2 chairs is about it. Kind of strange for a place that has 4 bedrooms - not sure what you're supposed to do if you come with a larger group. Lastly, while we're far from neat freaks, the house was not as clean as we would have hoped. One toilet had not been cleaned, there was dark hair plastered to the wall of one shower, and the coffee pot had an old/moldy filter in it (we took pictures upon check-in of everything we noted but I don't see any ability to upload them). Minor in the big scheme of things, but still kind of gross - also sort of annoying since we paid extra $$ to bring our dogs, presumably for a cleaning fee on a property that wasn't particularly clean in the first place. Would not stay here again. If we wanted people next to and above us, we would have just gotten a condo in Mountain Village or in Telluride, which we've done on numerous other occasions. On the upside, our teens loved having a billiards table readily available. Oh, and BTW - there are 2 bathrooms, not 3 as listed.
