We loved the location - having a short walk to the store or village, or a easy shuttle ride if needed was fantastic. We also enjoyed the ski in/out option.

Nice location. Unit a little run down. Shower head slides down rail to waist high, water temp dial doesn’t stay where you put it, drain stopped up so you’re standing in 3 inches of water. Furnace seems to blow cold air all night without engaging flame. Reservation site does not tell you gondolas, restaurants and local shops are all closed in Oct, until after you’ve booked and paid.

Staff was very friendly and attentive. I appreciated the text messages and the ability to communicate with staff by text. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. Of the 4 hotels we stayed in during our Colorado vacation this was by far the best!

It was very close to gondola

The location is an A . Parking on site is challenging but the do offer valet. Pool and jacuzzi views are amazing but actual pool and jacuzzi need refurbishing. Overall great experience.

Great location but property was poorly maintained. The couch was falling apart. The master bath shower was not clean. We were not provided with essential blankets upon arrival. I had to cover my kids up with provided bath robes to keep warm. There was an electrical fire in one of the outlets. Overall the property needs a deep cleaning and update for the price that was being charged.

I did not stay there. When I arrived on 9/24/19 to check in, I was told there was a $20/night charge for mandatory valet parking. That was not on my Orbitz information when I made the reservation. I could not afford the extra cost, and having to consult the valet parking people every time I needed my car or to get something out of my car was most inconvenient, since I was traveling with a lot of camera gear. I was allowed to cancel my reservation and receive a refund.

Nice and close to the free gondola into town but other than that the hotel was not nice unless you happen to get a room with a view (not the case for all rooms). The room itself was lack luster and in very old condition for the price. The bathroom tile had huge gaps in the grout (gross) and the soap holder was falling off the wall for example. Our room was the junior suite and it looked out on the parking lot. The hotel staff were super nice across the board so can’t complain there!

The walls were paper thin and could hear everything to adjoining room and we were not traveling together and were woken up early every morning by breakfast prep and talking. Beds were very uncomfortable, hard. Thermostat didn’t seem to adjust the room temp. Was hot most nights. Then confirmed late in the evening the night before a late check out would be ok and they said yes and would waive fee but then charged me anyway. The 300 dollar hold up front was undisclosed when booking room.

The manager of the restaurant and the wait staff was especially helpful and welcoming. Welcomed me in a most hospitable manner. Stayed in touch with me on a day to day basis to assure my stay was going well.

Gorgeous property. Rooms are small. Our room appeared as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months: dust on surfaces and dirty corners. Beds were made and bath had been cleaned is all.

UNBELIEVABLY gorgeous setting!! It just takes one’s breathe away,

We arrived in between seasons and it was extremely quiet and relaxing. A perfect get away to spend time together. The hotel was great, well maintained, clean and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly

The staff (Robert, front desk; Mikel, valet/bell) were so professional and welcoming. After a mistake at checkin where someone was in our assigned room, Robert not only upgraded our room but also gave us a free dinner at the Lodge's View Bar/Grill for the inconvenience caused at checkin. Mikel was very pleasant carrying our bags and escorting me to my car at night when I chose to walk to it to retrieve an item. Our room was nice/clean, with a short walking distance to the gondola. Housekeeping was great, promptly bringing me a few items requested that were missing in my room. Only complaint is the bathroom/toilet room is too small/tight, I found it better to keep door open then try to close it. Just had to make sure my son didn't walk in on me ! 😉

Staff is wonderful but rooms are dirty and not well stocked. Would not stay there again especially for the price.

Amazing room but snotty staff. But all in all it was amazing to be so close to mountains

What a nice place. Everything we needed. Wish the outside doors didnt slam shut. Otherwise everything was perfect.
