Miner’s Union 7 is a light-filled one-bedroom, one-bath historic condo in one of Telluride’s most convenient midtown locations. Originally built in 1902 as the Miner’s Union Hospital, this distinctive residence later became the original home of KOTO Radio Station, where Jimmy Buffett recorded. Today, it offers a memorable blend of Telluride character, mountain views, and comfortable modern conveniences for up to two guests.

Located just one block from the center of Main Street and Colorado Avenue, Miner’s Union 7 makes it easy to experience Telluride without relying on a car. Walk to restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, grocery options, festivals, the free gondola, and nearby ski access. Bear Creek Trail, Tomboy Road, and other hiking and biking connections are also close by. Absolutely Lovely

Impeccably clean, organized, homey, stylish and conveniently located a short block from the main drag. I come to Telluride once per year and this is my favorite place I've stayed in town. I'll be back, no doubt.

It is an historical property which is really cool, especially if you read up on it. The kitchen was very well appointed with all the appliances (new): 3 different coffee makers (drip, pod, press), gas stove, and an air fryer! If you like it dark at night to sleep, bring some eye covers. It was in a perfect location and was within walking distance of just about everything we needed (food, drink, shopping, and the Mushroom Festival activities).

Week in Telluride

Awesome location! Can walk pretty much anywhere in Telluride within 10 minutes (tons of restaurants, groceries, night life, shopping, and gondola all easily within walking distance). Very well decorated. Room has pretty much everything you would need to live comfortably for a week. Room can get hot during the summer (due to no AC) so would suggest bringing a fan.

The unit was very comfortable for two people. We drove to the car henge parking lot for skiing since the walk to the ski slope was steep and icy. The microwave is positioned on a high shelf which I could not reach.

I loved my stay... only one issue...

This was my 3rd trip to telluride in 3 years and I absolutely loved my stay at this location. The only complaint I have is there is no hot water for showers. There is a sign posted in the bathroom that states there is enough hot water for 2 showers but night one there was no hot water and night 2 we had 5 min of warm water. Other than that, this place was perfect for our visit.

Beautiful unit. Clean, comfortable, well appointed. Awesome location.Minor gotchas: 1) Only 1 ceramic coffee mug. There are 2 metal mugs, but those don't play well in the microwave. My wife bought a matching set of 4 ceramic mugs at the thrift store, so that shouldn't be a problem going forward. 2) Only 1 roll of toilet paper! Caught us with our pants down. 3) Bummer shower experience: 5 minutes of hot water, then freezing! Followed all shower instructions to a T.
