We had a great time at the Lumiere, received excellent service and help from all staff especially Trevor! Went skiing a couple days, and got to eat at There. All in all, very fun trip. Scratch has great food/cocktails too!
After 2 summer visits last year I had to get back to Telluride in the winter to experience the mountain. The Lumiere Hotel was the third hotel I stayed at and by far the best. Impeccable service and fantastic rooms. The 1 bedroom apartment was amazing. With a full kitchen and a beautiful fireplace and views of the mountains in was pretty hard to leave. But I will definitely be back.
very clean accommodations in a prime location. great value compared to the other hotels resorts in Telluride. we booked direct and got a great discount that made it that much better. Its a very unassuming property thats packed full of amenities and an extremely friendly/professional staff.
Great service and hotel. The rooms and shared areas were clean, comfortable, and stylish. Moreover, the location in Mountain Village is perfect. Trevor, Mary Marthy, and Phil were terrific. They were very polite, considerate, and responsive.
Let’s start with Mary Martha who greeted us warmly and made sure we were treated in the most accommodating and comfortable way - which included recommending and making reservations for us for our week long stay at fabulous Telluride restaurants. Then Reed gave us a tour of our lovely room which felt more like a home away from home - gorgeous touches and space for the family to relax after a hard day of skiing. Then Black Tie - located in the building came up to fit us for skis and boots (which they stored). The next morning Black Tie placed our skis outside as Lumiere is a ski in ski out accommodation. Everything was A+!
The help is well trained and eager to make your visit easy and pleasurable. They do everything they can to make your stay no hassle and enjoyable. They remember your name. The accommodations are first class. In my conversations with visitors staying at other places, they were satisfied, but not raving. The guests I met at Lumiere raved.
I had the pleasure of spending another wonderful weekend at the Lumiere last month! This was may 6th stay over the past 4 years and I have yet to find anywhere else in the world that compares. The new restaurant Scratch on the property is offering full service, high quality food and drink...even convenient room service. This only adds to the great experience...can't wait to go back next summer!
Don't you love it when you find a hotel that is nicer than your own home and the staff is better than your own staff! If so, make an excuse to go to Telluride and stay at Hotel Lumiere. Trevor, Jose', Mary Martha, David and the whole staff are outstanding. The property is in a great location in Telluride Mountain Village. The building, decor, on site services, and ambiance are first class - nice and quiet. Plus, Scratch, the on-property restaurant is one of the best in town. Obviously, I can't say enough about Hotel Lumiere, but I will definitely stay there again and you should too!
Trevor and management of Lumiere have wonderful customer service! They made an unfortunate situation very good. I would recommend this resort as they value each person's unique needs. Don't hesitate to stay here.
I am currently celebrating my 53rd birthday and have traveled to many fine places over the years. I would highly recommend this hotel. The personal service and attention to detail made our entire family feel like the luckiest people in Telluride. This is the 2nd time staying at this fine hotel and it won't be the last. We can't wait to go back. The entire staff was focused on our complete satisfaction and they hit it out of the park each time. The hotel and views were spectacular too. Excellent complimentary breakfast each day was delicious and saved us a lot of money as we were a party of 7.
