Great Hotel, but very weak WiFI. Problem for people who come for business trip.

Breakfast is delicious. Great location and friendly staff. Easy walking to the beach and dizengof and the Carmel market. Garage off premises about a block away made loading and offloading the luggage difficult.

Wonderfully attentive staff, amazing breakfast, comfortable beds, very clean, and artful

Had a sudden change in plans so only needed to stay one of the three nights that I booked through Orbitz. Did not take the non refundable option so thought there would be no issue Checked in around 11 PM and asked about checking out the next day. The person at the front desk requested that we come by in the morning when the manager was there. We had to check out before he arrived but called to explain. The manager stated no problem; the unused nights would be refunded. Called Orbitz 2 weeks later and they followed up with the hotel who informed Orbitz that they would refund only one night. I would have been OK with that had I been told upfront. Very disappointed that they turned a good customer relations gesture into a bad taste. Would not recommend for this reason. that we come down the next morning when the manager

We loved the hotel...the lobby was beautiful with hand painted murals and striking sculptures. The breakfast was amazing, much more than we expected from their 6th floor dining area which had great views. The staff was VERY helpful and courteous. The ONLY thing I had a hard time with is that I need a very soft bed. I had to put blankets under me because the bed was too firm for me. My husband had no problem sleeping on the bed the way it was, it was just because of my current physical condition. If you are good with a firm mattress, then you will love it. However, i did sleep very well once I got comfortable.

We regret to learn that you experienced difficulties with our WiFi. This is not a common complaint as usually our guest do not have any problems with the WifFi. We appreciate your feedback and I will follow up with our maintenance team to find out what was the problem and insuring it is addressed. Sincerely, Shirley Znaty – Management
