Clean hotel, great location, and friendly staff
Very well kept. Liked that they had laundry facilities.
Lakeside was a clean and reasonably priced accommodation right across from the lake, although we did not have a room with a lake view. We found comfortable beds, good Wifi, and a serviceable kitchen. We did wish that the kitchen was equipped with more than 1 kitchen towel or paper towers for cleaning and hot pads for handling pots/pans. This is a great place to stay more than1 night with free parking and close walking proximity to downtown TeAnau.
Best view of lake from our room on the 2nd floor. Nice sitting area, and bedroom can be closed off. The most comfortable and pleasant accommodations of our 15 night trip. Great location within walking distance to town.

We stayed all over NZ and this was one of my favorite hotels. The location is excellent, right across from lake with great views and easy walk to town. Free wifi and parking. The hotel was VERY clean and the staff very friendly. I have nothing bad to say, wish I could have stayed longer. Not a lot of towns in NZ with a good size town center but this is one; good food choices in town with good hours. The hotel is not right in the center of town wish I think is perfect but it is a nice, short lakeside walk to town.
