This was the right kind of place for us. It's not a 5 star experience, but the place has everything we needed, and the location was excellent for walking to town. While the outside looks a little dated, everything inside was clean and in good shape. We especially liked the tub (indoor jacuzzi tub) and the mini kitchen which allowed us to make our own breakfast and lunch for a day out exploring in Milford Sounds. The bed was also comfortable with nice linens/towels, etc.
