After Rome, coming “home” to Mancaversa was just what we needed - a beautiful well kept house right on the sea. There is a little alcove with a sand beach at the end of the street. Walks into town, to grocery stores and shops, walks along the seaside, short drives to sand beaches and crystal water that stretch for miles, within easy driving distance to old town of Gallipoli, Leuca and so many other wonderful places is all possible from your home by the sea. Have a glass of wine on the front porch and watch the sunset. Everything is provided that a family could possibly need. It is my dream home by the sea.
Carlo is a kind and patient host. We got lost coming in the dark and he drove to find us- we were 5 minutes away but it was late and he was patient and smiling. He welcomed us and shared all the places and and sites. He mapped beaches to visit if it was a north or a south wind. And he was right!
Our stay in Mancaversa was like a little dream on our visit to Italy and Carlo and the people in the neighbourhood were caring and kind and wonderful to be among. Thank you Carlo for your patience and concern. It was a a special memory in so many ways. Thank you for our home by the sea.
