love it breakfast was great disappointed there was no pool we wasn't told that it was not in use needed pool because operation on my foot . but will use hotel again we had a great time . weather was great staff where very helpful
The Hotel is full of traditional character. Rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable beds. Good selection of food choices, catering for all. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Bus stop outside the door that takes you to near by villages and shops. Lots of places to visit near by, some of which I didn’t get time to do such as, the Salt Mines & Schindler’s Factory and of course the Thetmsl baths (as they were being refurbished), so I will have to go back.! Thoroughly recommend a visit.
By the way there is a big brown spider living on the balcony (I was too scared to remove it). The refrigerator was not working, when I tried to call the reception to order some food to my room, no one ever answered. And during the first day of my stay there was a strong smell of urine in the bathroom. Later - either my nostrils got used to it or someone cleaned it properly. Yet, the receptionists were very polite and professional. Nice view from the balcony and good location after all.
The reception staff were fairly cold and professional. The beds have plastic mattress protectors which are only a sheet from the body! We were not informed that the hotel recreational facilities were being refurbished with no use of swimming pool and subsequent noise from 7 am!. Otherwise the reception seating and decor were splendid and comfortable, the large terrace was wonderful for views and sunbathing. The breakfasts offered variety and quality, but the evening restaurant menu and meals were not to our liking. We will stay here again as the negatives can be avoided.
Don't stay here. I was expecting the wellness spa- it was closed. When I went to order dinner- they were out of food. The bed was the most uncomfortable - its a foam on a piece of board. I had pain when I walked after staying here. The pictures are amazing and the lobby is great, the view is great of the mountains, but the facility that you pay for is not good. I had to go to the chiropractor, the massage therapist, and physical therapist when I got home due to their beds.....and I'm only 40!
We stayed here for Irish midterm.Having read previous reviews I was very nervous about staying in the hotel as we had two small children with us. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. This hotel was the most child friendly hotel we have stayed in. Reception was lovely very welcoming, clean and spacious. Rooms were basic but clean and laundered daily. The hotel had a free cinema every night and offered every child free popcorn and juice. Breakfast was excellent with huge variety. Dinner was only ok as it really only served polish food but then again we were in Poland so we were fine with that. Soft play area was amazing for under 6.Swimming pool was great for adults but shallow end too deep for small kids. Ski in ski out was fantastic for the kids with the added bonus of ski lessons and ski hire on site. Reception staff and bar staff did serve polish people first but I do feel we should have had some polish to get by . We left two of the kids ( toys) bags behind and the hotel sent them to Ireland for the equivalent of €20 unbelievable!no hotel in Ireland would do that! In all I would highly recommend this hotel for a beginners ski trip great value .
Beautiful hotel lobby and room and everything about it. Bathtub, TV, bed, WIFI. Small fitness room in hotel. Because saunas and pool were being repaired, they gave us a voucher to local aquapark. Tasty breakfast, free parking and excellent personel.
Fantastic hotel, stayed here 36 years ago during the communist era so wasn’t sure what to expect, shouldn’t have worried as it just obviously gets better and better. 4 nights business conference made all the more enjoyable by the great multilingual staff. Daily Room service was particularly good and the room had fantastic views, looking forward to going back soon 👍
The hotel is nice and staff very friendly and helpfull Easter breakfast was amazing with live music from local band - nice experience. The view from the hotel was stunning over all highly recommend and is worth the money.
Staff is pleasant. Hotel is comfortable and clean. Food is delicious and international kitchen (breakfasts and dinners). Ski slope next the hotel is great advantage. We had a great extended weekend. We certainly like to return.
