Our room was basic but clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the water hot for showers. The breakfast was very good, a good selection of breads, fruits, eggs etc. We were here as part of a tour and were well looked after. Would stay here on our own.
This was a most favorable place to stay. Lovely rooms and hospitable lobby. The breakfast was absolutely everything you could desire. Dinner was sufficient for me but not my hungry son. He asked for more and they brought him more.
Nice stay, spacious apartment, although the summers are already long past. Retro decor compensates window view, the helpful staff, amazing location of the hotel, excellent breakfasts and room rate promotion. I will definitely stay here again during my next stay in Zakopane, although I will rather choose one of the renovated rooms.
We arrived on sunday to the impression that we got the two worst rooms in the hotel. Extremely far from each other and obviously unwelcoming/. One of them was near a machine room. and its sound did not stop during the night.
I love the location of this hotel, at the base of the mountain, slightly away from the bustle of town, yet close to tourist locations. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
The hotel is situated in a great location away from the town. It's next to a ski lift and mountain trekking; although the ski slopes are somewhat limited. Breakfast was good and very well organised, we also ate in the bar a couple of times which was also good. The swimming pool, gym and sauna were also great.
This time I decided to come back after comming back after years. I wanted to see the lobby and reception after renovation and again get back to the mountains. The hotel is hilaruous and you can read about it in my previous comment (sorry it is only in Polish). Nevertheless I wanted to share my feelings about Suite with King Size - Mountain View. I definately recommend this room if you can afford. Apparently recently renovated is the best choice you can make to either spend time in luxurious interiors or to impress your partner. Interiors fully relate to Zakopane culture. There's guest WC and a spacious sitting room. In the middle of the bedroom there is real King Size Bed. Best is to come. If you unover curtains you have a breathtaking view of Zakopane and mighty Tatra mountains. This is the only view in whole region whre you can gaze at for hours. Both rooms have it and you can simply cross either from room to room or from one balocny to other balcony. Still uncover curtains of the en suite bathroom and you can cherish this view from your bathtub as bathroom is wallless. Instead a glass wall is installed. Don't want to have a bath - you have a shower too. We stayed 15.06 - 18.06.2017 on 7th floor room 701. Breakfasts were delicious as on previous visit. Staff was enormously attentive (specially reception). And you will truly loved new reception and lobby layout and how it look now. I still remember old interiors when I was a kid. I liked it a lot. This metamorphosis is a piece of good work. I hope next step is hotel facade. Don't be fooled by it as it is exactly as I can remember as a small kid, but now it is simply ugly. Kasprowy with this facade is like an ugly duckling - you will find treasures inside.
The price you pay is just for room you are staying. You need to pay everything apart from this like for restaurant, drinks etc. They even took tax for the air like 4 zl from us because it was clean (da fuk?) And staff is rude, they are not even smiling to you. The waitress complained to us because we came too late to restaurant because they were closing it soon. Strange place... But if you want to see nice view when you wake up, location is nice.
I sent this email to hotel, but I didnt have any reply! To whom it may concern, I would like to ask about my refund for the prepaid room that we had booked for September 2nd, 2017. As we have discussed with the receptionist after our unpleasant experience in your hotel. The guy at the reception assured us that we would get our money back next day after the approval of the manager. It has been a week and we have not received any refund. The experience that we had in your hotel was very unpleasant. We arrived earlier, asked if there was some room ready that we could check in to. The girl at the reception got us a room, that was with not that nice view but as we were supposed to stay just one night it was ok for us. She also assured us that the connecting door to the other room, next door is locked. We left our dog in the room went out for lunch, returned and suddenly we heard that the people just checked in the next door room, they started speaking and their kids started opening the door to our room. The door that was supposed to be locked was open, kids opened the door, our dog started barking. We went to the reception to inform them about this, meanwhile we got a call from some guy saying that people are complaining about our dog, that we should shut him up. Instead of saying sorry for the unlocked door the guy was rude and complained. We asked if there was different room that they could provide us as our dog annoyed the people and we did not feel ok with people getting to our room. The guy said there is no room available. We decided to check out immediately, we were not going to stay in place like this. We went to reception, girl apologized, explain guy what happened without the part of door. Guy suddenly offered us room of higher quality we decided to leave. So he assured us that our fee that we paid will be returned to the credit card that we used while booking. Nothing was returned to us, no email, anything from you. I would suggest you to take care about things like this. We were in that room, but imagine that there was just our dog, he is tiny, nice dog that never attacked anybody but if those kids entered our room and he bite or they got scared or whatever happened to them whose responsibility would it be? I guess yours as you was supposed to make sure that the door was locked.
We spent few days at Mercure Hotel. I can say it was amazing. The view from the hotel is great. Some of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Especially Ms. Daria helped us with picking good sightseeing. Highly recommended place!
