Stayed here twice now. Great experience both times. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Some of the most comfortable pillows I've slept on in my travels and the beds are first class. The rooms have everything you need to look after yourself and are clean and tidy. The beds and the staff are the standout though. Just what you need after a long days travel and or work at Taree.
We stayed for one night on our way home to Sydney last Saturday in room 6, The reception gentleman was very friendly, & we were very pleased with our room. The bathroom was quite spacious with everything that you could possible want in a bathroom. The decorator had thought of everything a lady looks for. The king size bed was very comfortable. The small sitting room with the little couch was a blessing to sit & read or use my computer to watch netflex using the free wifi that worked very well, while hubby watched the TV with foxtel. The tea/coffee tray offered all you needed for a nice cuppa. The small fridge was useful. What I found most pleasing was how well the cleaning staff had done their job, congrats to them excellent work. Other motels or hotels are not this clean, they did not miss anything, not a speck of dust anywhere in the room. We would definitely stay again should the need arise.
It's a bed, cleverly used space for storage with a bit of room around it. But the bed is fab, everything you need is in the room and it is spotlessly clean. Short walk to a restaurant and excellent heating/cooling. I'll be back!
There isn't a lot of room to move around but the room does what is required. Basic needs met and service by staff is outstanding. Friendly and welcoming. The pool is lovely and clean. Car park was easy to access with nice wide spaces
Stayed here for 1 night on business and was satisfied with the room and the service received. The Room is basic however it met my expectations as I wasn't after anything spectacular. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful so I really couldn't fault my stay.
Friendly check-in, room was comfy and clean with all the little things you need. Bed was big with crisp clean sheets, bathroom was good size and functional. Pool looked good but we only had a quick stopover so didn't get to use it. Restaurants and pub just down the road.
Looking for accommodation travelling south to Sydney and booked the last room we could find at this 4 star rated motel. Friendly greeting at reception. Room compact but comfortable with king size bed. Two issues that spoilt our experience and made this otherwise comfortable room terribly uncomfortable was the long hairs and stains on the sheets of our bed and the dozens of mosquitos. Firstly the least you can expect is clean sheets, surely? I have an allergic reaction to mosquito bites so we called reception to hopefully get some spray. No answer!! Too late for any shops to be open so it was like a cartoon with us chasing misquitos around the room trying to kill them by hand before they got us. Not a great night. You'd think a motel by the river with an obvious mosquito problem would at least provide repellent in the rooms. Nice touch when checking out was 2 bottles of water provided for our journey.
We were booked in by my husband's work to stay 3 nights. Reception staff stayed open for us to check in which was nice, parking is convenient and the hotel is in a good location. Facilities are good, including a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle with tea/coffee. All the things you expect from a hotel. The room was quite small and had a wet, musty smell that was stuck in the room, even with the window open. Had a lady come in our room even with the door closed and the "do not disturb" displayed. Not sure whether she was staff or visitor (likely staff as I would hope a visitor wouldn't have the same key as our room). This woke my baby just after I got him down for a nap. Wouldn't choose to stay again.
Easy booking on website. Large clean ......easy to park Car park in front of Units. Great smooth check in. Clean. Grounds well kept. Small compact rooms. Quite modern for Taree. Located 3 minutes out of main city restaurant area. Opposite main sporting zones. Reasonably expensive. But great owner has reinvested and modernised rooms in last few years.
I had a booking so could not pull out and was running late for a wedding so had to stay. IF the owners dare to present this room with the filthy and stained carpet the way that it is then they need to face my harsh criticism. Wanted to order a breakfast but the carpet turned my off as wondered what the kitchen would be like. Get a carpet cleaner in and never present a room like this.
