Peaceful, friendly, but not very private
A very peaceful location outside a quiet hill village, cool and breezy in June. The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful, the property was very clean, with a lovely canopied outside terrace, well equipped with outdoor furniture. Very quiet and calm at night, with lovely views over Grasse from the side.
It was difficult to find, as the owner did not give us the address, expecting that HomeAway would do this. It was only by asking around the village that eventually we found it. If you value privacy, this property probably isn't ideal, as the owners' main outside sitting area is directly in front of the bathroom window, and the garden beyond the terrace in the pictures is theirs, and not accessible. We felt that the cleaning charge of 60 euros was a bit excessive for so small a property, as was 30 euros for linen, towels, etc. The kitchen was not really set up for extensive home cooking (freestanding counter-top oven/grill): we relied on salads, etc. and would have appreciated a chopping board and sharp knives!
But the owners were genuinely friendly, and went out of their way to help us once we had found them.
