A beautiful property especially if you take the Villas, the beach is public but it was the best beach for our young children to swim in. The food provided at the public beach is some of the best we had.

The villa accommodations here are fantastic - spacious and beautifully designed. The cabana we stayed in the first night felt dark and a little run down. But, when we asked to upgrade, the staff were very accommodating and offered us a fair price to do so. Overall, a good stay. Thank you!

Very nice resort in the nature - a lot of palm trees, nice pool, beach close. Unfortunatelly the breakfast in the restaurant was very poor, every day the same. Did not like the cofee. Long waiting for the dinner ordered from the menu. I don ´t reccomend eating at the beach.

We loved our stay here! The Cabana villas are just gorgeous, and super spacious! The breakfast and hotel staff were also lovely and the close proximately of the beach was ideal. My only negative was only booking one night.

Absolutely fantastic!

We stayed in one of the Villas at Palm Paradise and really loved it. The hotel exceeded our expectations. I was a bit worried before booking that it wasn't right in the centre of tangalle but after staying here I would definitely stay again. It has a really lovely beach just below the hotel which is probably one of the nicest beaches I've been to. Also a Tuk tuk to the restaurants works out at under 2 GBP. Other than that, the room was really incredible and the grounds are lovely. It was a really relaxing place to stay.

These cabanas are incredible! Was lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. The pool area was also a highlight, beautiful clear water and plenty of sun lounges. The breakfast was also delicious. The town was a fair walk from the cabanas but work it to have your own secluded beach.

Beautiful place but not a lot of sleep!

A lovely tropical complex right by Goyambokka beach, the pool and ocean are close by and the cabana itself was simple, rustic & eco-friendly (you may get the odd bug or gecko joining you though!) The restaurant food & breakfast are ok but staff are attentive and want you to have a good stay. The issue was that we hardly slept because our cabana was so close to the rough waves of the ocean this time of year, is probably fine in high season though. A true Sri Lankan experience but try and request a cabana away from the sea if you can!

Great rustic cabins right by the beach.

We stayed at Palm Paradise for two nights but really could have stayed way longer. The cabin was simple but totally adequate ( interesting shower heating system!!! ) within a short walk of both the beach and their amazing swimming pool/cafe complex. We did'nt go anywhere or do anything - just stayed in the complex enjoying the beach, the pool and the cabin. Having a great restaurant on site made everything so easy. We loved it.

The location of this tropical paradise is great and the gardens are lovely but the cabanas are beyond basic and way too overpriced compared to everywhere else we have stayed in the last 3 weeks on our trip in Sri Lanka

Needs improvement

We arrived by TukTuk & no one came out to greet us or help with luggage. The lobby/office was deplorable with guests huddling in chairs using wifi. The property has a gem location but needs a stylish upgrade, serious landscaping upgrades, A/C in beach bungalows & the layout is off. The restaurant should be closer to the sea with views over that beautiful beach. Hope they can rectify this property as it has such great potential!!!!

We had a nice stay here. Really nice room close to beach. Nice terrace where you can hear the sea all day. Nice garden with hammocks. Downsides were unhelpful staff. Characterless restaurants. No presence on beach which is a shame as you are clearly staying there for the beach and beach cafes v basic. No local knowledge or advice from staff. Only male masseuses. Away from tangalle town. Very rough sea (not hotel's fault clearly but for info!). Oh and the LOUDEST bird who wakes at sunrise and pecks at his reflection in the window next to the bed. So loud and so early.

Living in a real Palm Paradise

We enjoyed three days in the cabanas of Palm Paradise located next to the beach. The garden is amazing, a paradise for all kind of birds. The cabanas are very comfortable and cleen with a nice veranda. Fortunately every bed has a mosqito net! You can't stay without! The restaurant offers delicious meals for a good price. There are some other restaurants nearby, but as the food was excellent we didn't go out. There is another small restaurant/coffeeshop next to the swimmingpool, very stylish but also very expensive.

Left 3 hours after check-in

We were hoping to relax on the beach for a few days after several days in tea country, but had to leave only a few hours after checking in after a very unpleasant experience on the beach right in front of our cabana. A local man claiming to offer tours approached each of the guests on the beach and most expressed that they are not interested. I did the same when he approached me, politely explaining that I am not interested in tours. His anger exploded. He made wild accusations about my choice to stay at Palm Paradise, made racist comments and assumptions and expressed his intense rage at Palm Paradise and its management. My boyfriend and I felt so unsettled by the encounter that we thought it best to get a change of scenery, especially considering there is very little security at palm paradise despite the security points you see on the map. The gate to and from the beach can be accessed by anyone and there is a long alleyway in the middle of the property that is open to the street and beach with no security. I'm sure many vacationers have a good time here, but our experience was very alarming. We of course received no refund for the early check-out and ate the cost of a prepaid two night stay for the sake of feeling safe and being able to enjoy our holiday elsewhere. The hotel staff didn't even seem interested the reason behind our early check-out and didn't seem to care as long as they didn't have to issue a refund.

Lovely room in nice gardens, amazing wildlife; monkeys around the pool, Peacocks everywhere and even hornbills on the Terrace! Beautiful secluded beach as well. Would definitely recommend.

The best pool

Absolutely fantastic swimming pool. We spent 3 days at PPC and devided our time between the pool and the ocean, our girls loved it after having backpacked for nearly a week. Food is good, especially the Sri Lankan buffet on sunday evening. Lunch salads at the pool are also lovely. We had a family cabana with a big kingsize bed and a normal double. The shower at the beach wasn't working which was a pity. The showers at the pool were fine and the one in the Cabana was good. You can have Sri Lankan breakfast (Hoppers) if you order the evening before.

Villas are amazing

We booked a family cabana but moved to the triple villa after 1 night. Cabanas too open & basic for us. But I can see the appeal. The villas where fantastic. All glass so amazing view & no Mosquitos! Fridge was a great addition.
