If I had seen the shower I wouldn't have booked because my 91 yr old Mother couldn't safely use it, & I found the shower floor to be slippery, otherwise the room was good. Before booking we looked at the photos on the website & none showed the full shower.

I loved staying here, the room was spacious and comfortable and best of all the curtains allow the room to stay dark until opened in the morning. The mattress was very comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, with a good parking space. The motor inn is also close to several restaurant options, which was really good. If it wasn’t winter I would have also enjoyed the pool. The staff are really helpful and friendly and made me feel at home. I will be staying here again when I visit Tamworth. You can only give 5 stars I would honestly give more if allowed. 🙂

We were early for our room but were given another one straight away by the very friendly manager. The bed was very comfortable and had an electric blanket on it - very welcome in Tamworth. Needed some maintenance -but everything was clean and neat.

Our stay started well with a lovely friendly person at reception. However, went down hill from there. The air conditioner vent was broken so only blew cold air directly down on to the bed below and couldn't be redirected. The blanket on the bed had stains on it. The room was clean enough. On the second day we were out from 7am to 1.30pm and then went out again at 5pm. The room hadn't been done when we got back at 1.30pm which was fine with us as we didn't put the Please Make Up Our Room Sign on the door. There was no need to have it done as we were leaving early the next morning and were perfectly happy to reuse the towels. When we arrived back to the motel that evening at 9.30pm, our door which we had definitely left locked, was open about 2 feet. Upon entering we found the towels and bin liner had been replaced but the bed had not been made up. Upon leaving the staff had left the door wide open which made us feel very uncomfortable. Would not recommend this property.
