Drove pasted it enroute on our journeys and it caught our eye. We only went to the restaurant and the food was as good as any we've had in major city's. The staff were welcoming, ambiance beautiful & log fire working, food presentation and taste was outstanding. Huge portions. Very reasonable...a really lovely experience for us weary travellers
It's the little things that's the Best western sanctuary inn that make you feel special. From the moment you enter reception you are greeted with a smile and checked in quickly. As I am Best Western rewards member and regular guest of the hotel, there is most often a little chocolate waiting for me on my pillow with a thank you note attached with it from the General Manager which is very cute. I have stayed in both the standard rooms and the premier rooms, both have very comfortable beds, the key difference between the two is the furnishings. I always look forward to coming back to the sanctuary inn. I do a lot of driving by myself from Brisbane to Sydney regularly and the Sanctuaryvat Tamworth is my go to place as the half way point on my long journey in the car every time.
Outstanding and affordable room, paid $159 for a premier queen off the road (see photos attached) nice and spacious, clean and comfortable. Location: the motel is located within a 1 minute drive to the centre of town and is also across the road from Woolworths and Dan Murphy's. Accommodation: the room is beautiful and not your typical motel style. Quality bedding and heavy furniture. Restaurant: the food was beautiful for both in room service we had one morning for breakfast and even better at night sampling food from the Med! Service: the staff here go above and beyond to make sure guests are pleased. All in all we are very happy vegemites and look forward to coming back.
Recently brought my best furry little friend on my travels through Tamworth. I was concerned I would not find anywhere as I was driving through and decided to stay the night in Tamworth as I was exhausted. The Sanctuary has a few pet rooms and they are beautifully made up. Me and my pooch where very content. Nice, clean and quiet, we were looked after like royalty.
Great conference venue with a range of different rooms for our meeting. The staff are true professionals. The food was actually devine. It might be a best western, but I can tell you from experience, this is not your typical motel. I stayed in ground floor room which was a premier king, nice and quiet, great bed and fox channels. I booked and paid directly on their website for $169. Everything was great.
Nice sized rooms, quiet and well insulated. Air con worked very well considering it was minus 2 last night. Georgie on reception loves her clients and her job. Nothing was to hard for her to handle. Rob the manager is a gentlemen and made my wife and I feel right at home. Would recommend this motel to both business travelers and leisurely travelers. We had the executive spa suite as it was the last room in the hotel, it's well worth the money and probably the best room in town.
My family always stay at the best western when they come to town to visit me. The hotel truly is a sanctuary and is the best value in town in my opinion. Georgie on reception is just so lovely always willing to please her customers! My parents often travel with their 10 year old Maltese terrier so they make sure to book a pet friendly room directly with the hotel. The room is sparkling clean with wooden floor and nicely refurbished.
Paid $40 upgrade for Better room. BUT Small poky room needing refurbishment, even though told it had been refurbished!😡 Very dated, cold, noisy aircon. Furniture squashed into room, barely could pull out desk chairs or sit on couch😖. Bed simply too big for the room. Even the basin had a serious crack! Unpleasant smell like strong laundry powder/soap😓. Not sure how restaurant runner up in district comps as good very ordinary if not basic but pricy. Best Western, this place damages your brand😯. Never again. 😠
Good food, good bed, good pool, good parking, good internet, good Tv, good fire place, good staff, good restaurant, good location to shops and main road? Did I say good already? Because everything was very good :)
Stayed here with my wife and 2 kids for 1 night. The room was a good size for a couple kids over being in the car. Good shower and get helpful staff. Room was reasonably priced. Closer took woolies (across road) and short drive/walk to main Street. Would recommend the motel to all.
