Best pet friendly and spacious rooms

Never disappoints. Quick and easy check in, beautiful clean and good size pet friendly room. Love the large grassed area for the dog to have a run around. Looks like it was freshly updated and we just love coming here with our dog

Good basic motel. We had the family room. Everything was clean, new aircon, comfortable beds and good wifi. Basic continental breakfast was also included (cereals + toast). Good value for the price, compared to others. Staff were very friendly. Bathroom does need an update though - quite basic, no place to put toiletries or anything in the shower cubicle.

Fantastic and pet friendly

Easy check in, David was friendly and we’d been in contact to ensure I would arrive before reception closed. Our room was a pet friendly room, it’s one of the cleanest and best maintained rooms we’ve ever stayed in with the dog, there was plenty of room outside for the dog to wander and do his business. The room was fantastic, microwave, good size fridge, plenty of cutlery and very fresh and enough storage space of staying for more than a few days. The bed was comfy and the shower was great too. We can’t recommend this motel high enough. It’ll be our new place to stay.

I hired the family room with 4 beds for a few nights and was pleasantly surprised. After staying at a similar spot last trip and being let down, I was expecting more of the same but was pleased overall upon checking in. The Almond Inn had a good central location to Peel St and other shops and eateries. As for the room, semi outdated decor but I will say the beds were super comfortable, but as there were 4, it felt like the beds were jammed in and not a lot of movement space. I could see the appeal in a 2 bed room with the comfort level and a little more space. Cleanliness was an 8/10. The shower pressure was average. Not the worst I've had in a hotel but not the best either. It did the job though. The only other minor irritating thing was the curtain over the small sized window. It was a thin see through material, there was nothing that could block out the light coming in. Had to improvise with a spare blanket. All in all, solid 3/5. Served it purpose nicely. Would stay again if I needed a room for more people and was looking to stick to the budget.
