We visited this spa for the first time in many years, now with the kids (6,4 and 1). We stayed for three days and were very happy with the experience. The hotel was, as some have mentioned, a bit outdated and worn out, but it wasn't that bad and did not affect our stay. The location on Lake Näsijärvi is simply amazing: our hotel room was on the 8th floor and the view from the balcony was gorgeous. In the summer it would have been so nice to sit on the balcony enjoying the view. A very big downside during the winter was that there is no direct access to the spa from the hotel: we had to put on bathrobes and slippers and walk through a busy parking lot in freezing weather to get to the spa. With small kids this was no walk in the park. The spa is rather small but cosy, and I have always enjoyed the atmosphere rendered by the massive stone wall that encompasses the pools. There are just a few pools but for kids in the same age as ours they were very adequate and a lot of fun. For bigger kids and teenagers the spa might be a bit too small and peaceful. A major downside for toddlers is that the kids' pool is too deep. Our 1-year-old (who already walks) went under water every time she stumbled in the pool so it was not entirely relaxing to try to keep her safe. I enjoyed the water aerobics class twice a day. There were a couple of large changing cabinets which were big enough for our whole bunch and that was a welcome bonus. The playroom for kids is quite small and did not inspire our kids for long, and there was no supervised playroom with a caretaker as in most Holiday Club hotels. I did not visit the gym since I was having too much fun with water aerobics, but my husband did and according to him it was fairly okay (even though in the morning when the spa was closed you had to circle the building from the outside to get to the gym). We had dinner a few times at the restaurants, and we were pleasantly surprised that you can also order from the Classic Pizza restaurant while sitting on the Arthur side. We only had one person in our group who enjoys pizza, so it was nice to be able to order from Arthur's menu for the others. The service was very friendly and welcoming, both in the hotel, spa and the restaurants alike. The breakfast was very good as well. I would recommend this spa for families with small kids or couples wanting to relax in a quiet and peaceful spa. The location is also superb for outdoor activities (walking or skiing on the lake in the winter and hiking in the nearby Kauppi forest area in the summer).

Really nice place. Near lake. Good rooms many with balcony. Really helpfull staff. Breakfest was nice also. Spa is quite small. 2 saunas. 2 jacuzzi. 1 bigger pool. 1 mineral pool. 1 cold water pool. Its ok but there is better spas in finland.

The hotel is quite worn out and not tidy at all but breakfast is good, spa is excellent , there is gym next door and R-kioski next to the reception. It's fairly quiet hotel and the lake view is fantastic. A bit to pricy for what it offers but over all good hotel!

The type of room was good and theres area with kitchen at bedroom a stair above with high up to the roof. Clean and even with private sauna beside the bathroom. In the Restaurants and Spa possibility during the day. Car parking free. nice surrounding area.A bar outside also over the street of the entrance. 24 hours service (not good at swedish but finnish and english)

First time to visit Tampere, the hotel has two buildings, my room was a suite with living room/kitchen, private sauna and a separate bedroom with a view on the lake. Clean and very nice and quit. As it was june it stayed light until very late and it was great to walk and sit around the lake. I also had dinner at the hotel, food was good, not expensive and the staff friendly although the english was up to a minimum level, it all went fine. Breakfast was also good a lot of choises to pick from. All in all a very pleasant experience

Nice hotel and very clean nice view. Children was very happy in the spa they had lots of fun. We had pizza for dinner very light pizza and taste. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly. All together we had good weekend 👍👍👍😆😆

Holiday Club is aimed at families- therefore all my points may not be valid for all guests. My room was large on 9th floor, clean and perfectly adequate. Nothing exceptionally good, nothing bad, either. The restaurant is fairly expensive, a burger sets you back 21 Euros, half a litre of regular beer 8 Euros! The parking costs another 12 Euros a day. So, the apparently good room price is not the whole story. I found the staff friendly and helpful.

I visited the hotel spa for one night. The rooms were spacious and very clean, even though the decoration style was from early 90s. The beds were very comfortable and we slept in silence. The hotel breakfast was great, and the location was convenient from the city center. Bus number 2 gets near the spa hotel. The spa itself was small and worn out, which suited us just fine as we wanted to visit a small spa with fewer kids. I liked the spa very much, but it was not as warm as I would have liked in the spa, which made it less relaxing. Either way, this was a very relaxing visit and we got just what we had come for on our weekend break.

Don't visit this hotel if you except some luxury on your spa holiday. The spa of this hotel is small and not comfortable at all. There is only one bigger pool in the spa and it is used to be so crowded one could not swim at all. Besides that there is a couple of small jacuzzis, separate saunas for men and women and a steam sauna. All of them are worn out like the whole hotel. The only positive arguments to mention are that rooms are quite big and there's a bus connection to Tampere downtown nearby.

An enjoyable stay in a family suite in Holiday Club Tampere in July. A specious two rooms and sauna for our family - perfect!! Bath robes and slippers, fridge and a microwave. A separate kitchen area with tables and 4 chairs. Balcony. NICE. The spa was small, but tidy and ok.
