First time to visit Tampere, the hotel has two buildings, my room was a suite with living room/kitchen, private sauna and a separate bedroom with a view on the lake. Clean and very nice and quit. As it was june it stayed light until very late and it was great to walk and sit around the lake. I also had dinner at the hotel, food was good, not expensive and the staff friendly although the english was up to a minimum level, it all went fine. Breakfast was also good a lot of choises to pick from. All in all a very pleasant experience
Nice hotel and very clean nice view. Children was very happy in the spa they had lots of fun. We had pizza for dinner very light pizza and taste. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly. All together we had good weekend 👍👍👍😆😆
Holiday Club is aimed at families- therefore all my points may not be valid for all guests. My room was large on 9th floor, clean and perfectly adequate. Nothing exceptionally good, nothing bad, either. The restaurant is fairly expensive, a burger sets you back 21 Euros, half a litre of regular beer 8 Euros! The parking costs another 12 Euros a day. So, the apparently good room price is not the whole story. I found the staff friendly and helpful.
I visited the hotel spa for one night. The rooms were spacious and very clean, even though the decoration style was from early 90s. The beds were very comfortable and we slept in silence. The hotel breakfast was great, and the location was convenient from the city center. Bus number 2 gets near the spa hotel. The spa itself was small and worn out, which suited us just fine as we wanted to visit a small spa with fewer kids. I liked the spa very much, but it was not as warm as I would have liked in the spa, which made it less relaxing. Either way, this was a very relaxing visit and we got just what we had come for on our weekend break.
Don't visit this hotel if you except some luxury on your spa holiday. The spa of this hotel is small and not comfortable at all. There is only one bigger pool in the spa and it is used to be so crowded one could not swim at all. Besides that there is a couple of small jacuzzis, separate saunas for men and women and a steam sauna. All of them are worn out like the whole hotel. The only positive arguments to mention are that rooms are quite big and there's a bus connection to Tampere downtown nearby.
An enjoyable stay in a family suite in Holiday Club Tampere in July. A specious two rooms and sauna for our family - perfect!! Bath robes and slippers, fridge and a microwave. A separate kitchen area with tables and 4 chairs. Balcony. NICE. The spa was small, but tidy and ok.
This place was very pleasant and has lots to offer. Many restaurants, open property to explore and well maintained. The Sauna packages for sauna world were a bit pricey considering you also pay for the rooms. The suites/homes are very comfortable and provide a full kitchen and den area.
I visited this hotel tAugust 2016 with my wife and our toddler. It was generally clean and tidy. The hotel is quite old but still refreshing. Breakfast was quite good but not awesome. For instance the fruit salad was frozen. No complaints because I got in through a super discounted offer available to special few. I could not try the spa because it was under reconstruction at the time. I was told you get a great view of Tampere in the upper floors. We took a walk round the hotel and it was a nice view and refreshing walking along the lake. I would recommend it for those that can afford it.
We stayed here with my boyfriend for one night. The first (and the biggest) dissapointment was that the spa was closed for renovation.... it was not informed well (we had NO idea) and we really looked forward into jumping in the pool and relax. The rooms were very old-fashioned and our room smelt like old furniture etc... A good thing was breakfast!
Overall a good place to stay. We've been here few times before, and definately will come again. Spa is good to go with kids, if enough young to enjoy themselves in a kids' pool or jacuzzi, or >140cm tall and able to swim. For teens spa has little to offer. Area is peaceful and rooms arw fine - beds are of highest standards and balcony is large-ish. With a little luck, you may have some view over Näsijärvi, truely a breathtaking scenery especially in summertime during a sunset. Own transportation - a bike, motor vehicle, taxi - is recommended if need to get somewhere more interesting than residential urbs outside the hotel area. Restaurants are a true jewels here with friendly staff and fine menus. It is hard to find better even from the city centre. Breakfast is typical buffet one could generally expect - like bread and bacon style. Still quite fine and well served along with few specialities. Staff is very friendly and professional. Parking is surveilled and comes with a fee, usually one can find a free spot.
