We had a lovely stay in the 2bdrm poolside - highly recommend being poolside if you can! The staff was responsive and quick to resolve a mixup at check in, which we greatly appreciated. Breakfast, which varied every morning, was fantastic. Pool was super-refreshing for a quick dip. Awesome location, easy to walk to just about anywhere. Resident kitties an added plus.

Karol was amazing but the other lady wasn’t as friendly. It was close to most everything but there was nothing else good about it. Our reservation said free breakfast, we went and asked the lady said $15 per person, the rooms are very old and outdated. The bathroom was horrible and most of all we were there 4 nights and had to go three out of the 4 nights to get clean towels and bring our garbages out. We did manage to get our beds made 1 night by housekeeping It has great reviews but I’m never gonna trust reviews again. They did manage to book our pick up from the airport and drop off to Riu but the bad definitely outweighed the good The best part of this place is Karol at the front desk!! I rate this hotel at the most 3 stars and that’s being generous. We travel often and I was very disappointed in this hotel.

This is our second stay at Ten North. We had a small apartment with a bedroom, kitchen and balcony. The space is not fancy but clean and comfortable. It is quite and safe and a short walk to the beach and restaurant. The staff is nice and helpful. We would recommend this hotel.

We absolutely loved our 6 night stay at the Ten North Hotel! It’s such a quaint hotel with a great location to all amenities! The staff was so friendly and amazing too and we loved Laura ‘s breakfast that she prepared for us each day! We will be back! Pura Vida <3

I loved my stay at Ten North Tamarindo. It is conveniently located across from a supermarket, a block from the best nightlife, and a block from the beach. It was very quiet at night. The pool is great for cooling off during the day. The room was spotless and everything worked well. The staff is very friendly and responsive. Great coffee every morning and VERY cold filtered water for filling your bottle.

What a beautiful oasis right in the heart of Tamarindo! Breakfast served by the pool with a field of horses behind us. Secure on site parking. Would definitely recommend. Bed was comfortable too!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit and loved our stay! The table under the covered patio was great for playing games and hanging out when it rained, but also provided sun protection. The rooms were quite soundproof which I appreciated. We enjoyed both going in the pool and taking a short walk to the ocean, which the hotel conveniently had some chairs we could borrow as well as beach towels. Lots of dining nearby as well as a grocery store across the street. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had and included a smoothie and fresh fruits. The staff were very friendly and remembered preferences day to day. We felt very safe with a locked gate at night and a staff on overnight as well. We would stay again when back in Tamarindo.

This small hotel was wonderful! The staff was exceptional and willing to help as needed. Our ”casita” provided for all our needs. There was a small kitchen if you so desired to heat or cook a meal or snack.i would not think twice about rebooking at this hotel.

The spot was conveniently located with a walkable distance to everything in Tamarindo. With many shopping, restaurants, surf schools, coffee, shops, bakeries, and even tattoo and piercings. It is a quaint space, we got to know our neighbours as well, we all faced the pool, which was nice and refreshing after a humid walk through the city. Laura, provided us with great breakfast every single morning with a good variety. Would definitely book you again.

This was a great stay. Very convenient location to groceries across the street, multiple dining options and a short walk to the beach. Breakfast was different every day and cooked to perfection. It was so good that I would have felt guilty not tipping the cook - I think her name was Lara. My only suggestion would be to have a comfy couch instead of a 3rd bed in the seating/ family room area. It was a little awkward, our family of 4 gathered on a bed to watch our Netflix shows at night before bed but we made it work.

The A/C worked really well and the rooms were perfect for our family of four. The shower worked great. Our favorite part was waking up in the morning to the patio table set for breakfast and a delicious, fresh meal made as soon as we came out. Our girls enjoyed the pool and I enjoyed that we could watch them from under the fan on our patio. This was a great spot with easy walking to restaurants and the beach too!

You can tell everyone that works here cares about the place and the guests. We’ve stayed here a couple of times and will be back for sure. It’s just off the busy street and the beach is a quick walk away. Grocery store, yoga/pilates, skate park, amazing coffee and more is just steps away. Rooms are great. Highly recommend.

Definitely recommend for a personal authentic stay

We really enjoyed our stay. We are a family of four and we had the two bedroom apartment off the pool. The rooms have a rustic tropical vibe that is minimalist and clean. We did not try to cook so I can’t speak to those supplies. Linens were comfortable. Bathroom was pretty spacious actually for a small rental. Air conditioner worked well and the temperature was always comfortable. Pool was wonderful - kept quite clean and never too busy. We had a patio off the pool with a large spacious table and bench. We had the breakfast included option and it did not disappoint! They wait for you to wake up and come outside to the patio, where they’ve already set your table. The breakfasts were so good - cooked on the spot and lots of local traditional foods with local fruits and fresh smoothies. Definitely recommend! The hotel is on the small side, which gives it a very personal feel. It was like our own little private oasis in the heart of the town. Very walkable. A small group of staff were very kind and professional and helped whenever you needed anything. I would definitely stay again. Wifi is spotty, fyi

Room was clean and close to the pool. It was very walkable to beach, food and local shops. Felt very safe to stay ( your given a traditional key on a bracelet). Staff was helpful. It definitely gave beach hotel and room was big.
